but how come they "quit" after every loss? how come that seems to always be the reason.

you say you give the chargers credit for "wanting it more" but are they the better team?

do better teams normally win?
does that win mean the other team quit?

like i said, you're putting the cowboys in the NWS it seems out of your own frustrations, not the reality around you.

so are you saying they just aren't good enough? last year at Philly I watched this team quit except for a handful of players.

Seriously guys? ...

I think sometime some people say things that are inflammatory just to get a rise out of others.. really.. I do it (not as often as I used to). At least I own up to it....

The word that I have heard often used in recent weeks is balance. Call the fans what you want but the average fan can see deficiencies at the OC position. Perhaps if we sprinkle in a little:

First Ray Lewis calling out our plays at the line in Cowboys stadium to own us last season and now Tim Dobbins? Who the hell is Tim Dobbins???

seriously - they do. we win 4 straight the 1st loss out - WHY DIDN'T TECMO RUN THE BALL????

you can't script every play for balance. if you do you may as well have "an idiots guide to coaching" as your guide because it's football 101. we as fans do that but we as fans DO NOT have the same experience, direct education, day to day knowledge and so forth as the people we're far too willing to make fun of on a regular basis for own insecurities.

now we run 3 times and get stuffed and people are up in arms we didn't pass it.

people are never happy unless we win and even then, not anymore because they're busy buying "emotional insurance" for the next loss and prep'ing themselves for it in their own anger.

so we must overanalyze every loss. fire every player who lost that day. get a new owner/gm/coach, trade the tradable player of the day, whine about the last move, whatever it was - because it's all "we the fans" know how to do.

to pretend we know more than garrett and almost any pro coach is just fantasyland.

does anybody on this site understand what an exaggeration is? the last 2 times they talked a big game they didn't back it up. that's my point

I agree. Shut up and play especially Roy Williams the self appointed #1 receiver. OK I admit he's getting better but still.

About Roy's comments... At least someone on this team is giving the impression that he has some intestinal fortitude...

:lmao:

That made me crack up out loud.

can you answer my question first?

when it is a loss to a better team and when did the team quit?
what defines the difference?

I disagree. Cowboys wanted it. You can't say they didn't want it because they didn't win. These guys are competitors. They're doing the best they can and it sometimes isn't enough. Its fine with a team being better than us. I felt there were 6 teams better than us in this division before the season started. Come to find out there are only 2. Someone has to lose. The Cowboys did. But it wasn't based on a lack of effort.

Some of you poster are ********... What Roy said was the truth, I don't expect anyone with pride to say, yeah we're going to lose.

I think the Chargers are the better team but remember i'm part of the "nwc".

I also thought Philly was better than Oakland this year.

they quit during practice last week when Keith Brooking said he almost had to start a fight in practice to get the intensity up.

Ah.. Forgot about that.

Well who else really doesn't care what any of the players have to say?

He could talk all the crap about the Saints he wants for all I care.

It will make no difference because Dallas doesn't know how to not shoot themselves in the foot.

Even if we do come to play we will make just enough mistakes to lose the game.

Funny thing is the ones complaining the most have said Dallas was going to get their butts kicked Sat, this before RW said anything.

Now they are upset because what RW said is somehow going to cost us a game they never felt we would win anyways. Got to love how logic goes out the window around here :laugh2:

Can we all atleast agree that the Roy hate has become ridiculous on this site to the point where he can't do anything right? He catches a football and he should've caught it with his hands. He catches a football with 3 guys on him and he should've scored the touchdown.
I'm one of the few that stood behind Roy from the get-go. Never once bashed his effort on the field or said what a bad trade it was. I think his best days for us are still to come

I just think this was unnecessary.

i think there's a sub-rule in section XXLV chapter 19 sentence 4 that says if you know you're NWC you can't be in the NWC. : )

so if the chargers are better, how come their beating us = we quit?

when is it getting beat vs. quitting - trying to define that here.

Maybe. Saints are a good team. Then again the Saints have been showing some cracks in the armor. Their secondary gave up big plays to Redman last week and they have a hard time stopping the run.

No doubt the Saints are the favorite in this game and rightfully so but if the Cowboys can find a way to go into New orleans and walk out with a win it would be a big boost to them and could be the thing that gets them over the hump. I look forward to the game.

If he goes out and backs it up on the field Saturday night it's brilliant. If he doesn't he's Patrick Crayton. Let's see how it plays out. I like the brash rebuttal. Hopefully they give us some semblance of hope on Saturday. The 2009 season's light is very dim and flickering every few seconds.
