Either Zimmer needs to go or Roy needs to be traded....probably for a dynamic offensive player

we dont need to trade roy he just needs to step up and play to level he is capable of playing, and lose a few pounds.

and make better decisions in coverage. and get healthy. this list is getting longer and longer.

The thrill is gone, the hype is dead, they need to make plays on the field. As of right now, they are doing nothing but saying thank you for the whopping they are receiving.

Show me some fire and passion.

Some defend Roy blindly. Fact of the matter is, he is abslolutely not playing very well. Not a huge fan of his at all.

If anyone can stomach watching a replay, watch on running plays to the defensive left... Roy kept running up and putting a shoulder into a blocker, not even trying to make the tackle.

I mean, just setting his sights on an edge blocker, and running into them, while the RB cut back. Roy didn't care, he didn't even make an attempt at the ball.

I can accept that Roy is hurt, but there's no excuse for what he was doing. Frankly, it looked like he was just frustrated at losing and didn't much care if he made a play on the ballcarrier.

I've loved Roy since college.... But that was inexcusable.

100% correct.

I was sickened at what I saw. We would be better off with Elam in there. I am serious.

Yep... this was my problem with him as well.. he would just come up and overrun the play.. he was constantly just dropping his shoulder and taking himself out of the play..

He made a hit on the kickoff, that if he was playing like the Roy we used to see , would have crushed the guy.. instead the returner bounced off for a few more yards...

Roy needs to get some burst and intensity back.. he's just looks lazy and out of shape..

I believe Roy Williams is falling off because of the same reason while our whole defense is falling off is because of this 3-4 bull crap. Atleast with the 4-3 you playing bend but don't break. If we had to use defenses that would be in context to describe of skill level that the Quarterback is on, the 3-4 would be Drew Bledsoe, this defense has potential to make big plays but it gives up alot of big plays, and the 4-3 would remind me of Romo, it probably will bend but it's not going to break us for 90 yard gains down field from the 1 yard line.
