Guys:
I have heard comments that RW is slow, that is not true unless he is out of shape or injuried. In high school he finished third in the 5A 100 meters at the state meet (I think he ran 10.48). He also won the long jump (25'6") and high jumped 6'10". In shape, he should be right there with TO in terms of raw speed. I saw some games he played at Texas where he was a man among boys, however I haven't seen him play at Detroit.
Whether he will come on an be a top player for Dallas is unknown, but he has the physical tools. In fact the compares physically with Fitzgerald (SP?) in terms of size, speed, hands, and leaping ability.
Note: I don't think there is another team in the NFL that has the raw physical talent of Dallas at receiver. Think of TO, RW, Austin, and Stanback (if he develops), all 6'2" or better, 210-220, and 4.5 or better speed. Remember, I didn't say they were the best receivers, just the most physically talented.
If they could stay healthy and develop we could be really strong at receiver. Of course it doesn't matter if the QB is on his back. Note: one thing we do lack is the quick guy for the short pass over the middle.
Still licking my wounds from this year.
