He just has the Barry Sanders syndrome - with one difference.

The light at the end of the tunnell!!!

By the way, he won't get more than 6 balls a week his way here either, but at least he will be winning.

We have an extra 3rd and a 4th in next year's draft. I'd give Detroit a 1st, 3rd and 4th for him, provided we have the parameters for an extension on his contract.
If you put him on the field with Witten and T.O., This offense is virtually unstoppable.

are you smoking crack? no way lions franchise him or pay him what he wants. he is a #2 on a rebuilding team, you cant pay franchise money or a #1's salary to a #2. bascially he is gone after this season, there is no reason to overpay for him. give them a 2 and 4 and be done with it.

6 x 17 yards are a catch = 102 yards a game.. ill take that!

He's just stuck on a sorry team with a pretty bad QB, who loves to put the blame elsewhere when he throws an INT. I wonder will he be franchised??

I think it will depend on who the next GM is. Detriot needs to invest in a QB and some help on their O-Line. I don't think you rebuild a team by letting talent get away from you.

Prior to the draft, I would have given a #1 and a #3 for RW. Not so now. We've done a great job of infusing this team with good young talent and there's nothing to indicate that this will change. Would you trade Felix, Bennet/Scrandrick for a #2 WR that might, at best, be Romo's third option behind TO and Witten?

I'd take RW in a heartbeat, as long as he's a FA and it doesn't cost us any picks. The fact that RW wants to come home and Jerry is willing to spend money can make this happen. JMO.

The more I look at his numbers, the more it seems to me you may be right. But, there seems to be no doubt that even if he over-rated, he would be the perfect addition for this team. And that is what it ultimately is about, making additions that make the team better.

I don't think ego would be a big thing for Roy, considering he hasn't so much as peeped a word with all the drafting of WRs in Detroit.

He isn't even their best WR. Plus, if he was all of that, the Lions would have given him a new deal.

Do you have any idea of how ridiculous that is?

It's true! Face it, he is just another over-rated University of Texas player.
No, it's not true. Teams let go of talented players all the time for one reason or another.

Terrell Owens, Randy Moss, Chris Chambers, just to name a few current WRs.

I agree 100% that he's overrated. Been watching him here in Michigan for years. Drops 2 balls a game, runs very bad routes, pouts.......we don't need him and shouldn't want him. Sorry U-T fans but that's the God's honest truth with him............

Sounds like another WR that came here but straightened up his act.

Will Williams be content with being the third choice behind Witten and Owens? How much will it cost Detroit to franchise him? $10 million?

What do you think Roy is becoming?

LOL! Why over pay for somebody else's player that they don't want. The Cowboys are fine at WR and don't need to have another over-rated player on their team.

Boldin or Williams?

I'll take either one next season.
