Of course Roy hasn't had Fitzpatrick and Edwards trying to get him the ball either.
Funny cause all I heard from the moment TO was cut was how Romo was going to be horrible, how he'd suck, and how it would be proven that he was only thought to be good because of TO.
Now you're saying that TO was able to put up numbers with Romo, who sucked according to most big time TO backers, but he can't put them up with another QB who sucks?
Interesting.

Im so over TO. I enjoyed him while he was here but its to the point I could care less what he is doing in way up there.
That's where I'm at for the most part. I think the guy was a great addition, on the field, while here and I enjoyed watching him play. Always have and always will.
I'm just not upset that he's gone.

Definitely worth noting Willliams has Romo! Just say I dont like TO, but dont come with these weak arguments.
Again, as I said before, it seems like the vast majority of TO fans thought Romo was only thought to be good cause of TO. Most of them told us all how Romo would prove to be a crappy QB without TO.
Funny how now, when that turned out to be total crap, people are trying to say TO's lack of production is because he's got a crappy QB in Buffalo but he had a good one here.

Definitely worth noting that most of the Owens suckamaniacs said that Romo was only good because of Owens.
Exactly. That's all you heard from the vast majority of them after he was released was that Romo would be proven to be complete crap without him.

The key stat is
36 vs. 27.
Roy Williams is 27 years old, entering his prime, and has the ability to put up numbers as good or better as he has this year for several more seasons.
TO is 36 and will continue on his 2 year downward trend next year.
Outstanding point. You have to factor in more than just the follow year when these kinds of moves are made. TO is, without a doubt, at the twilight of his career. Williams is just now about to enter the prime of his.
Huge difference.

This.
Assuming we wish to keep Roy and Austin, both will be here for the tenure of Romo's career.
They'll only improve as they get more reps with Romo.
Owens is at the end of his career and we'd be replacing him within a couple of years.
While we gave up a lot for Roy, and the return has been questionable to date.... if Roy continues to improve and perform like he's done for the past couple of weeks (for the most part), we'll be ok.
A trio of receiving options of Austin, Williams, and Witten makes me very pleased for the future. And if Roy is the worst of the 3, we're in pretty good shape.
Exactly how I feel about it as well. This gives us a receiving group of Austin, Williams, and Witten to keep around a still realitively young, Romo for several years. That's a very exciting possibility to me.
