HAHA. You have no idea (in a joking way). Michael Irvin and Deion Sanders rewrote the book on being a rock star athlete in the 90's.

We've got to take a looksee if he's released.

How often do 6'-4" 200lb receivers with exceptional speed and route running ability come available?

TO and Glenn aren't getting any younger

Think of the benefits if we signed Henry. No more TO articles cause the press would go crazy talking about Henry and what's wrong with the Cowboys that we sign a thug like this, that Parcells didn't want him and that he and Jones not speaking, that Parcells left TC and he and Jones finished, that TO could be a role model for Henry and provide leadership/guidance Henry needs, etc., and finally this is proof that 06 is Parcells last season.
Heck, I bet Henry would love to come to the Cowboys; after all he hasn't been arrested in Texas for anything yet so he'd have a clean slate. Yup. Get it done Jerry.

Just kidding of course. Assume this whole thing about signing Henry is a joke, right. Besides, if we signed Henry the next criminal act would be Parcells killing Jones.

Nope, even to stop the TO articles it's not worth it.
Heck

I do not think we can continue to TRY to upgrade the team with young thugs or possible diamonds in the rough players. we need to continue work with the talent we have or draft that talent.

I know it is a requirement that we must discuss signing every, even remotely-marginal player that is released from any team, as if that one player is the difference between sucking and the next dynasty.

But, given that we just took a HUGE chance with TO, why the hell would we even think about signing another huge risk?

You think this discussion is silly? You just wait until Rae Carruth gets paroled. Then we'll see some crazy talk.

To me, I look at this situation and say to myself, if we are not interested in signing Smith as FS, why would we be interested in signing a player who is more of a problem in Henry?

Off season I suppose.

Come on now he needs a chance. I believe he should start off new with the Dallas Cowboys as a go to weapon and possibly a kick returner cause he got alot of speed.

Perhaps this nugget slipped by some people:

"...has been arrested four times in the last seven months in three states...".

C'mon, Carmen Sandiego doesn't get caught that much.

Maybe with a little luck we can sign randy moss --then when Henry pulls
a gun with a cop there Moss can run over the witnesses
But to add my official vote ---NO NO Never
