Rumor: Brockers on the block; Cowboys Mentioned *Merge*

we could have gotten brockers few years ago instead of trading up for claiborne lol imagine we trade for this guy lol

Dallas not only would have taken Brockers with their original first round pick, but they would have selected linebacker Bobby Wagner with the second round pick they gave up. :banghead:

Not interested. The Rams are willing to move him because they can't afford to pay him. We need to draft a young guy so we can have the benefit of solid production at a bargain too, not pick up someone who will soon be looking to get paid big bucks.

productive? not where we need it which is pass rush. Head back to your bong

Our run defense wasn't great last year... and a lot of that was our lack of a true 1-tech. Even if he is just a 2 down player he can occupy guys in middle to let Crawford and our DEs work on those downs, and will seriously help our run defense. Sounds like a win-win to me. Beyond that... there are very very few 1-techs who have good pass rushing ability (Suh is the main exception there) so he might even be a 3-down player with us.

He is on the last year of his deal, so we are talking about a 1 year rental here?

Pass..............not trading premium draft picks for 1 year rentals.

THANK YOU. I will say I was happy trading for Claiborne anddddddd that went down the drain pretty quickly lol

Part of that is they signed Nick Fairley. But I'd be inclined to agree that I would want someone cheaper playing the 1 tech unless that have previously played at a pro-bowl or all pro level and have no injury history.

NO NO NO NO! Brokers is nothing more than an average DT. he has no pass rush. and does a good job of run stopping and that's it.this would be a terrible move. this team needs a pass rush. and brokers is not a pass rusher. some of you folks are unreal. e are not talking about A. Donald here.

According to a report by NFL insider Ian Rapoport, the Cowboys are out of the Peterson sweepstakes:

While Rapoport thinks the Arizona Cardinals may tempt them it was reported elsewhere yesterday that they have been priced out as well.

9:11 AM - 27 Apr 2015 On an Adrian Peterson trade: #Cowboys are out. #Vikings don’t want to move Peterson. But could #AZCardinals tempt em? http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000488251/article/dallas-cowboys-not-in-running-for-adrian-peterson…

I’ve read that the Vikings wanted a first round pick and a starting cornerback in exchange for Peterson but more often I’ve read that they are refusing to deal Peterson on principle.

Either AD will play for the Vikings next season, or he won’t play at all.

I'd give up this year's 3rd and next year's 2nd - at most!

We'd still be able to get our CB and RB, and our defensive front would immediately improve.

Would not give up a 1st.
