Signing Odighizuwa means nothing as far as drafting a DT. You need two good 3T's in todays NFL because you line both up in B gaps 70%-75% of the time. Even if Smith improves he is not a B gap player. Another reason why you dont draft 1T's in the firstAgree but let's not forget, that they are about to pay Osa $25M. They KNOW they can draft the so-called 2nd or 3rd best DT in the draft at 12, yet they are still willing to pay Osa. That tells me they value Osa's traits and experience over any rookie DT they can draft at 12. As mentioned before and this is just my take, signing Osa takes DT off the board at 12. Keep in mind, signing Osa also means you now only need solid tech 1/NT or run plugger who is likely only a 2-down player.
