I don't disagree with him being the best player. However the shelf life for a top back is 4 to 5 years. That is the shortest of any position in the NFL. If we only needed a running back I would agree with you, but we have so many holes. I think O line is 1A and the number one need and there are only a few really good ones available. I think D line is 1B in need. That's either DT or edge rusher. Now, that need may change if we bring in some good free agents, but Jerry has been sitting on his wallet for years, so who knows.You must of missed a lot. He's a top 3 player in this draft behind Hunter and maybe Carter. If he's there at 12 he's 100% the BPA and should be the pic. This team has only had true success with a great running game and never had a great running game with running back by committee or with a 5th rounder running the rock.
