The Patriots signed Rex Burkhead and Mike Gillislee, and have James White as well. They use a RB by committee, and don't need an Alfred Morris, especially since he doesn't contribute on special teams.

Gillislee is gonna surprise people but they could use another power back after losing Blount

Burkhead is 230 pounds, and Brandon Bolden is another guy who can be used as a hammer if needed.

Being showcased by the Patriots..this weekend....Cowboys interested. They need a lead back like Alfred Morris..We need a complimentart piece like Lewis. Sounds like a good trade to me. Comments?

The Cowboys are good at RB. If I'm Stephen, there is no way I trade a draft pick for a RB when Zeke, DMC and Morris are on the 53. That would be a wasted draft pick. I'm far more concerned about the backup QB. The one we currently have sucks. Use that draft pick and trade for a decent QB, then 53 would instantly be better.

Nope. We also need a lead RB. With the injury history of McFadden we would be wise to keep Morris.

We should have traded back and got Mixon.
