Chargers front office leak intended to extort a pick out of Dallas? #adjuststinfoilhat

I can't believe any one would believe this nonsense. But that's fine with me we were never going to take Zeke at 4. The only thing that would make it sweeter is if SD does take Ramsey and all the Zeke at 4 cats have to watch the Cowboys pass. They were never going to take Zeke at 4. I can't wait until its over. So I can gloat.

And you know this how? What happens if we DO take Zeke at #4? Hmm

Will you eat the crow and gladly support our team with Zeke? Or will you still hope he is a bust just so you can be right?

I think their stance is they love both Ramsey and Elliot and would be happy with either. As the two QBs are going #1 and #2, one of the two 'should' be there at #4 barring anything funky and quite frankly 'dumb' from the Eagles or Rams. I think that is why they are pretty transparent with who they like.

Like the Eagles take Zeke or Tunsil

Surprised everyone wants Ramsey over Bosa.. Ramsey's game tape is not great, I'd prefer both Tunsil and Bosa over him.

I love Zeke as a player if we could trade back to say 10 or so I would love to have him on the team but we were never going to take Zeke at 4 n pay him 22 mil in guaranteed money.

Well, my stance is, if you really love a player, the risk of trying to get cute and trade down is that he might not be there later. So sometimes it is just better to sit there and just take him and not get cute!

Not a running back you don't pay RB 22 mil in guaranteed money the spend too much time on injured reserve. You take them in the middle rounds or get them cheap in free agency like we did McFadden and Morris.

Sure, I understand the financial concerns, but sometimes you have to step away from the trees and look at the forest, what I mean by that is that don't get too caught up on the financial aspect and let that govern everything...I am of the opinion that Elliot's impact on the overall TEAM would be much more worth than the simple $$$ figure. IF he is who we think he is, then he not only takes our offense over the top, but at the same time indirectly impacts the defense...in ways such as having to be less on the field, playing with a lead (when you play with a lead it is much easier to be opportunistic and force turnover as there is pressure on the opposing offense) - last year most of the time we werent playing with a lead...Elliot can change a lot of dynamics on our football team...it would be shortsighted to pencil anything just as "its not worth because of the $$$" you have to look at the overall picture

I disagree McFadden averaged 4.6 ypc last yr. AP has averaged 4.9 ypc for his entire career Zeke can't put us over the top Zekes not AP. Even if he was that .3 yrs per carry that doesn't put us over the top. Our running game is fine we need a pass rush that's why GB bet us in play-offs. We might have won the SB if we had a pass rush.

Agree to disagree on Zeke not putting us over the top on O. As for pass rush, of course we do need improvement. We might have also won the SB if Murray didn't fumble the ball.

What people sometimes dont understand is there are multiple ways to reach a destination, multiple people can be 'right'

Cool, have you watched it yourself? It isn't impressive aside from his athletic ability, this guy has huge bust potential.

They said the same thing about MO and his tape looked awful. So who knows. Hard to believe Ramsey wouldn't be twice the player MO is.

I don't think Ramsey will "bust" or at least not the way Claiborne did. I doubt he ever forces enough turnovers to be worth the #4 pick, but I don't think he will be a bad player
