While I don't want Philly to get him, I'm also not for selling the house to get him. He wants $10Mish a year, thats a lot of money and we still have several players I hope we can keep. Canty, Ware, Tank, Columbo, etc. While it would be great to have him, but do we really want to risk losing more than we already will. I mean, Columbo is probably gone because we won't be able to afford him. Canty could easily walk also. Considering Ware is going to break the bank, I'm not sure Tank will be around either if he has a monster season.

Its going to take more than 1 guy. It will improve them drastically but Dallas is still heads and shoulder better than them.

• Because of TO
• Because Dallas wants him

Philly never went for a big name WR and then they went for Owens.
Philly said after the Owens ordeal that they wouldnt do it again.
NOW they are in the running.

They still have that bad taste in their mouth from Owens and what makes it worse is that Owens is working out in Dallas.

They feel the need to try and atleast keep up with us. Because they wont one up us with Bolden.

I agree that would be the reason if they do it. I just don't know if they would pay him or not. They may think they could trade for him and make him play another year or two or three under his current contract.

They are known for being notoriously cheap with their players. Although this year they have opened their wallets a little bit. I don't know what to expect from them.

Once again, it sounds like the Eagles are trying to get something for nothing.

Unless they're offering both of next year's #1 picks, this deal - like all the others they've attempted lately - won't happen.

If Boldin is for sale, I think he's an Eagle. The Eagles were offering Randy Moss more money than the Patriots were. Along with Lito Sheppard, they also have two #1 picks next year.

Yeah but its not just Boldin its who ever Newman lines up across from.

IMO Newman is one of the most consistent players in all of Professional sports.

Boldin is a great player. I'd love to have him. I even wanted him out of FSU. Even after he ran a really really slow 40 time.

Im just not worried if Philly gets him.
