If Boldin is for sale, I think he's an Eagle. The Eagles were offering Randy Moss more money than the Patriots were. Along with Lito Sheppard, they also have two #1 picks next year.

I'll say this, Boldin probably couldn't hurt us more than Sheppard did with the Eagles. :laugh2:

Maybe throw Curtis into the mix. Keep Hannah as the 3rd TE. I know they drafted Pope, but who knows.

Curtis, Spears, Scandrick, Hurd. Pick 2 of them, a first rounder, and then another pick based on performance. Thats my final offer

That seems just a little bit high for one player.

I can see Spears and a pick (not a First), given our depth there, but the other three are key to positions at which we are thin.

Dallas is in a position to overpay.

If it puts a ring on the finger then overpaying is fine.

I'm of the school that believes fans ridiculously overrate the WR position anyway, so I'm not sweating it either way.

Were not thin at CB.

WR were thin, but were acquiring Boldin, so problem solved.

And Hannah has shined lately

Andy Reid just spoke not long agao and said They ARE NOT INTERSETED IN BRINGING IN ANOTHER WR!

Was that before or after Gruden said the Bucs had no interest in Favre? :lmao:

Well I agree make them use all of that ammo

I'd give a 1st and a 3rd that would be as good or better than a 1st and Lito because Lito wants paid.

If Philly wants him, make them pay, I'd also tell Boldins agents the max money i'd pay so that they could take that to Philly

Yea Boldin goin to philly could be bad. But i feel that we have DBs that can cover him or at least slow him down.

Boldin didn't do that much against Dallas when he was with the Cardinals. Why are so many so scared of him if he gets to Philly?
What about our 13 pro bowlers? Are we saying that Boldin will make that much of a difference to surpass the Cowboys? :(

McFlabb will make any WR seem average..

He sure didn't make TO look average when TO was an Eagle

They were probably the most dominant duo in the NFL at the time.

I dont see them as a threat.

.

If you mean as a threat to go for Boldin...maybe so.

If you mean as threat to finish ahead of the 'Boys, I say they certainly are a threat to do that. I would not predict it, but the threat there is real.

I agree that would be the reason if they do it. I just don't know if they would pay him or not. They may think they could trade for him and make him play another year or two or three under his current contract.

They are known for being notoriously cheap with their players. Although this year they have opened their wallets a little bit. I don't know what to expect from them.

I think they would have to pay him... othewise why would he agree?

McNabb wont finish out season and Kolb will go in. They have been on skids for past couple of years. Rebuilding is underway.

I think if we were dealing with smart people all around the deal could go down like this.

Jerry and Drew talk it out.

Jerry says he will give Boldin a TO-type deal, money-wise, with probably a few more years... maybe a 5 or 6 year deal. Same guaranteed money as TO.

Drew tells Boldin, go to the Cowboys, you will get fair not overpriced market value and you will go to a GREAT organization... and you will WIN too.

I just dont know where Boldin's head is?

Maybe because the Eagles seem to always play us well, and adding a #1 receiver will do just as much damage
