While I don't want Philly to get him, I'm also not for selling the house to get him. He wants $10Mish a year, thats a lot of money and we still have several players I hope we can keep. Canty, Ware, Tank, Columbo, etc. While it would be great to have him, but do we really want to risk losing more than we already will. I mean, Columbo is probably gone because we won't be able to afford him. Canty could easily walk also. Considering Ware is going to break the bank, I'm not sure Tank will be around either if he has a monster season.

If we can pay him in Mish that might not be so bad:D

is reporting the Eagles are pushing hard to make a deal with the Cardinals for Boldin. They are also saying the deal wouldnt include Lito. I really hope Jerry doesnt let this happen he needs get on the phone and become a player in the negotiations.

Appearantly Kevin Curtis suffered a sports hernia and they are pushing pretty hard.

holy crap people...why does everyone sell our team so short?

I have news for you and the other gloom and doomers, they could trade for two Anquan Boldin's and we are still better than them

Maybe because the Eagles seem to always play us well, and adding a #1 receiver will do just as much damage

you mean like a three seasons ago when they had Owens and we blew them out at home with Bledsoe as a QB?

Boldin didn't do that much against Dallas when he was with the Cardinals. Why are so many so scared of him if he gets to Philly?
What about our 13 pro bowlers? Are we saying that Boldin will make that much of a difference to surpass the Cowboys? :(

I agree...people sell our stacked team so short

unbelievable

Well it works both ways. If we and our 13 Pro-Bowlers are so formidable, why has Jerry been sniffing out trades for a #2 wideout?

but no WAY does Philly offer two no. one picks: not their style. Lito, and a number one? I can see that, no matter what reports are saying to the contrary. That's a pretty good deal for both teams IMO: hope it doesn't happen though.

Let them have Bolden.

Yeah if it comes down to it. Let it happen.
I would only want Bolden if it played out that way without the bidding war.

Yeah I cant even see them parting with one #1. Like you said not their style. If they do it... its because the devil...er... TO made them do it. :lmao:

People love to dog on McNabb and Philly but the reality is that, despite the Napoleon Complex they seem to have at times, they're going to be a tough foe to beat this year. McNabb is a solid player, and has shown to be elite when given a true playmaker at the position. I mean, how would Romo fare with Curtis and their cast of losers? Throw Boldin in the mix and, while he's not the playmaker Owens was, that offense and team looks a whole bunch tougher.

Agreed. I'd be SHOCKED to see Philly trade two 1sts for a player they'll have to pay a $40M or so contract. Absolutely shocked. Giving up a player they don't want plus an extra first, still leaving them with one? Much more sensible, you would think.

I will never, ever, EVER, give Philthy credit. Weather they deserve it or not. Same with the Skins.

The only way I want the Eagles to get him is through a bidding war. :laugh2:

You are probably right but it would suck if they added another weapon to go with Westbrook.

As I said in another thread that is why we continue to build a defense with some quality players so that we can deal with talented offenses in the league. There is nothing Jerry can do to prevent the Eagles or any other team from going after a player and it is not in our interest to overbid for a player just for the sake of keeping him off someone else’s team.
