man am i getting sick of all this Briggs trade talk. One second hes being traded, the next hes not. Just want this to be over with already.

I know how you feel.

Not trade talk but that whole TO is coming or TO is not coming...TO is signed or TO has not signed deal last year wore me the heck out.

I know what you mean, especially after "the fumble"......i kid i kid.

Washington Times:

The Commanders' interest in Briggs would be puzzling because they moved up to draft outside linebacker Rocky McIntosh in the second round last year; they already have highly-paid linebackers in Marcus Washington and the newly acquired London Fletcher; and the team has more pressing needs. And with the sixth overall pick, the Commanders have an opportunity to trade down while acquiring additional first-day selections.

Wow I cant believe I almost forgot about the whole "is TO coming or not" ordeal. This is worse though, it has to do with draft picks.

You know it's bad when even your hometown paper is tearing apart the deal and it hasn't even gone through yet.

You know, that is a valid point. Not just any pick either, a top 10 one.

Well it could be worse...you could just get the player and not the 31st pick.:D

My head would explode if that was the deal. Here's to me praying Branch falls all the way down to #31.

You guys traded picks for Lloyd, and Duckett - phenomenal mistakes. These are picks in rounds where teams are finding starters many times who make bigger contributions than either Lloyd or Duckett. You've shipped picks out for many other players. You shipped out a couple second's for Rocky McIntosh, after the LBs you probably wanted were taken out of deperation.

You traded picks for Mark Brunell and gave him an enormous contract with first rounder Pat Ramsey still on the team.

You traded the league's best corner AND a second round draft pick for a RB who has been slightly above average since.

And now, you're worried about trading down in the first round to acquire one of the league's best LBs?

Seriously?

THIS is what's sending you over the edge?

I think you meant to post this in the "biggest Commanders mistakes" thread. Yeah iam worried about making this trade. Sending me over the edge?? Where did i say that? I just want to stop hearing/reading about this on every sports outlet.
