Sounds like yet another business decision by Mike Jenkins if true. Nobody is going to trade a flip for him. He should embrace this year and work his tail off and ball out like his pro-bowl year.

Why don't players understand that?

I still wouldnt get rid of him. Unless you can trade him for somebody like a starting center or guard. I would like to keep him here because you know he is gonna play his arse off to get a nice big contract in free agancy next year.

I think Jenkins feels the heat.

He's going to have rise to the level of competition... After he gets healthy of course.

I talked to Mike Jenkins and he said he isn't tackling anyone this year so get used to it.

I'd rather lose him in FA and hopefully end up with a comp 3rd in 2014.

he's coming off injury and very well could be the 4th CB by the time he is healthy. Barring an injury he won't see enough time to cash in, which is what he wants. Hard for me to blame him for wanting to be traded, now if he pouts and doesn't give 100%, then that will only hurt him.

JMO but it would be a huge mistake to trade Jenkins because his value is too low now.

Play him this year, let him walk in free agency, get a higher draft pick in compensation from the league.

Well, if he asked for that, I would oblige him! Damn, and I was pulling for him to stay at least this season, but if that is his attitude, I would kick his butt to the curb!

Most football players are dumb as rocks. He has a great opportunity this season with all the help on the D...and he wants out?

Hold him until at least July. His value will rise as the season nears.

garuntee that doesn't happen. barring an injury to Carr or Mo, he'll likely sign a 1 year deal and attempt to enter free agency again in 2014.

Unless he moves to safety which would be near impossibile coming off major surgery.

Dallas' response: Play great in the preseason and maybe you'll get your wish.
