My bad. Got you mixed in with 5Stars. Sincere apologies.

It's all good.CoCo;4538544 said:My bad. Got you mixed in with 5Stars. Sincere apologies.

Seriously, I think he's just responding similarly to how you are. He's very disappointed and saying the first thing he can think of in response. Cooler heads will prevail and we'll make the best of this tough situation.
Maybe that will be a trade, in time. I just hope we don't to make a snap judgment when that really doesn't serve us well. I don't think we will. I fully expect Mike Jenkins will be part of this team through training camp.
Plenty of time to get his head on straight.

The team just spent $10M per on Carr and drafted a TOP CB prospect #6 overall. This is not about Jenkins being afraid of competition. With Jenkins rehabbing a serious injury this competition is over.
It is understandable if the day after the draft he is confused as to his best next steps. The guy very likely has the skills, if he gets healthy, for a very good payday. But the road to that destination is now very, very cloudy.
He's confused. I'll give him some space.

Thanks, bro...
I just don't understand these rich brats. I'll calm down now...sorry for the rants.
CoCo;4538589 said:Understandable. No apology needed. Our nerves are all frayed from a tense few days. It'll all sort out in time.
Meanwhile let's dream of Claiborne, Carr and whoever gets to help them. Ryan has some tools to work with now.

If he's healthy in training camp, plays well in a preseason game, and some team's corner goes down for half the season, I can see him being moved.
exactly.rags747;4538632 said:I like Jenks. He's the only cb that bothers to look for the ball. We have not had 1 of those in at least 10 years. He also gave it all up for us last year and really gutted it out for us.

Da Hammer;4538660 said:Jenkins pretty much has been dead to me ever since he quit in that game against the Gaints 2 years ago. Would be good to have him as depth but I wouldn't be sad at all to see him go.

i'd be pretty pissed, if i gave up my body/career and then the employer said thanks, and hired people to replace me.
You would hate being an NFL player then unless you're a star player.cowboyz;4538671 said:exactly.

This, hopefully a team not in the NFC east will loose a valuable CB and be willing to trade a Center type or a TE.LOBO7;4538321 said:Hold him until at least July. His value will rise as the season nears.
