No problem. I didn;t know it was you that posted the original info and I know there has been a lot of joking about it. I can see where you would get tired of it. For what it is worth, your info seems right one.

Lmao...funny how people get, just because they aren't the 1's to post it first.

Bro its not a popularity contest, most people here, post what they hear and see. That's what this board is for.

You can either ignore it, or believe it. Just don't get all butt hurt/jealous because you are not the 1 to post this.

I understand you and a few consider this message board "A life". Let me tell you, there is life, and women beyond your screen.

Relax enjoy the message board and the news(It's not actually news, it's on his FB)...jealousy is ugly man

This was an excellent post for a lot of reasons, good message in here.

How come no one posted this part:

Mike Jenkins
This status is strictly for the fans. Since everyone seems to know what's going on with me lol... I am not holding, I've been to Dallas and worked out with the boys, I'm bck in forth from Dallas and fla because Andrews did my surgery which is only rite that he do my check up. And for the people who say I won't be ready for the season? Like I said I've already worked out WITH the team, so you do the math.

My point is... he would've been pissed months ago, regardless of this Claiborne thing...

Why? 1) We gave Sensabaugh and Scandrick contract extensions, and 2) We signed Brandon Car.

If he was going to be pissed, I doubt he'd have that attitude and say that he's still grinding out with the Boys.

Not to mention he just posted on his pages that, "I like the addition. Young fella is a baller."

Why wouldn't mike want out ? He was a pro bowl corner and basically was thrown by the way side. Scandrick received a big contract last season then carr and now drafting a big time shutdown corner. I think they'll give him his wish and trade him. Even if it's for something like a 4th rounder.

ESPN Dallas' Calvin Watkins reports that Cowboys CB Mike Jenkins is still on the trade block.
Per Watkins, there simply "appear to be no takers." Jenkins underwent a significant shoulder operation in January after separating the joint several times during the 2011 season. While he did show toughness, NFL teams maintain obvious medical worries. Watkins also passes along concern that Jenkins isn't rehabbing at the Cowboys' facility. He's working out on his own in Florida.

hmm I don't know what to believe. i hope all of the confusion gets worked out in the next few weeks. there were times the last few seasons when jenkins was my favorite player. there were other times when I thought he was embarrassing himself and the organization. but i still want him here for depth and i'm intrigued how much he can improve without campo here.

IMO Jenkins is worthy of staying and getting a new contract. I really, really hope he stays. This is a pass happy league that is starting to resemble arena league :ralph: ball. The more DB's we have the better. I love the idea of having Carr, Claiborne, and Jenkins.

If Garrett is true to his word about competition and guys earning their spots, which i believe he is, then there is no doubt in my mind that Jenkins will be playing the majority of the snaps in nickel situations. This notion of Scandrick as some sort of master slot CB is way overblown IMO.

Did you know... or do you realize... that Finnegan and Scandrick had very very very similar stats over the last 3 years?

No, which has been my point all along. He did absolutely nothing to warrant a contract extension

O-scan is in the 2nd year of a 5 year extension, so we are kinda "married" to the guy for now. Would probably cost us more money on the cap to move him then to keep him, so we are basically stuck with him.

Jenkins is a free agent at the end of the season, that is why he is the odd man out with Carr and Mo in the mix now.

I believe Jenkins is the better player. Period. Obviously the unknown is his play in the slot. But i think he's capable of doing it just as Newman did on occasion as a younger player when shadowing the likes of Moss and Steve Smith. It was just something he wasn't asked to do often, in Jenkins' case not much at all. We'll see...i believe, assuming he's healthy, Jenkins would win that spot if left open to competition.

I realize that, and its unfortunate for Jenkins because Scandrick is nowhere near the player that he is. At no point, atleast IMO, was Scandrick ever better than Jenkins. I was always against the contract extension for him too, don't know what Jerry sees in the guy but I dont know how much more I can take of watching him trail WR's with no idea where the ball is (apparently we'll have to see it for the next 4 years).

Crying over spilled milk at this point. If Jenkins is moved I'll wish him the best of luck wherever he goes. If he's here I know that between he, Claiborne, and Carr we should be very strong against the pass

Thats the problem Jenkins has right now, he cant pass a physical with that jacked up shoulder of his. If you cant pass a team physical, nobody is going to give you anything more than a bag of Doritos for him.
