This is disappointing if true. And if true, I say good riddance. We don't need any weak minded players out there that won't compete.

I disagree. I think that we go into training camp with Carr being the only 100% sure thing as far as starters in the secondary are concerned. Even though Jerry gave up too much for Claiborne, I have to think that Jenkins will be given every opportunity to be the number two guy.

I have to agree....

But if this is the attitude Jenkins wants to have, i say to hell with him.

I have no idea here, because I didn't read any facebook stuff, but is it possible that Mike saying "he asked for it" could have meant that them going out and getting these corners is partially his fault because he's been very inconsistent and hasn't stayed healthy?

I am going out on the limb here, I know, to give the guy the benefit of the doubt but I'm just not sure I'm going to jump on him for some comment on facebook.

Who knows here are the quotes.

His Boy- "watching espn john clayton talk crazy trading u i dont believe that bruh jerry keeping u he know u r worth it if any thing we just beef up da dbs"

Mike- "I asked for it bra"

Another 1

Fan-"Yo bruh dont let these fake Cowboys fans break your confidence. I see big things coming this year with you, Carr, Scandrick, and Claiborne...#superbowlbound"

Mike- "Oh I don't fold bra I'm real fella... I'm out here while I'm out here"

See that attitude? "Im out here while im out here" Don't like that confidence

If he asked for a trade so what? If this team has so much confidence in Carr, Claiborne and......Scandrick, then trade Jenkins for what you can and let him get his elsewhere. No sense in keeping a guy whose talent is obviously not valued here.

who said his talent isn't valued here?

and just b/c you feel confident in your other options doesn't mean you don't keep jenkins for depth. one injury and scandrick is starting.:(

Far too much "bra" going down in that exchange.

I say keep him. Its almost impossible to find a conerback in 2012 that can be effective. I hope we hoard all the ones that we can.

Jeez, if that's his legit page, then he can leave for all I care but I wouldn't trade him for no value. If we can get something in return to help this team, because we won't get a high pick, then keep him and get that comp pick when he walks.

Who knows, this could just be his immediate reaction, maybe things change when he gets to camp.

Sounds like yet another business decision by Mike Jenkins if true. Nobody is going to trade a flip for him. He should embrace this year and work his tail off and ball out like his pro-bowl year.

Why don't players understand that?
Well,it is a business.

I talked to Mike Jenkins and he said he isn't tackling anyone this year so get used to it.

I've been used to that since his Rookie season

If hes gonna act like this than get him outta here. This team doesn't need players with an attitude like that. He should accept his role as backup / situational player and do whats best for the team.

You guys just aren't seeing this thing from Jenkins perspective. If he's relegated to the 3rd or 4th cb role it diminishes his stock going into fa.

So this is his only year to "SHOW" he's worth some $$$?

How many seasons has he been on the roster?

I agree... just like the Eagles did last year.

By the end of camp or mid year, he will be good trade bait for a player or draft picks if it's obvious we don't need him w/who we have already.

Is there anybody here who can translate that into standard English?
