I disagree. McNabb does not throw the shorter routs very well, because he opens his stance so much on short passes he tends to put them in the ground however his deep passes are very accurate. WCO relys on allot accurate short passes and that shows up in his less than 60% but deep balls he has not had problems with.

Davis had luck bringing in Plunkett and Rich Gannon later in their careers and I'm sure he views the move for McNabb the same way. Problem is this is a worse Raider team than Gannon and Plunkett got handed plus they were a little younger than McNabb. Russell not panning out has left the Raiders in a desperate situation.
