Take it for what it's worth. But a host here on the radio just said Steven Jones has talked to Daniel Snyder about a late round draft pick for RG3. Said that at 4:15 John Clayton will be on, and he's going to "ask The Professor if there is any truth to that?" They've been talking a lot about Christian Michael tweeting about wanting to go to Dallas. Said that if he does he will be starter by mid season LOL. Said the Only reason he's in dog house here is because PC says he needs to learn faster and CM took offense to that.

I texted the show and said that it was awesome that they were talking so much about The Cowboys on Seattle Radio. I was called a troll on the air...I don't mind, I know I live here, but the Seachicken love fest is the most obnoxious thing I've ever seen. I say we all troll them, text line is 710710

It's not true. For starters, Snyder may sign off with trading RG3 or even releasing him, but never to Dallas. Second, while it's possible that RG3 waives the guarantee for next season, this is his ultimate bargaining tool. With that guarantee, no team will claim him off waivers, because if he tears a pec lifting weights or ruptures an achilles jogging, they are screwed. That is 16 million that you can not spread out. Even Washington can only hold out for so long before the risk of injury is not worth stopping him from going else where.

The Cowboys would not take on RG-knucklehead's contract. If he comes up injured at any point, he will be owed 16M for next season. He is already guaranteed over 3M this season.

If RGKnee is traded to some team he will be as good as useless. If he gets hurt, his 16m option kicks in. That means you literally have to baby him to the point of guaranteeing that doesn't happen, which Essentially means you can't use him. Nobody is trading for the guy. Period.

I'm almost certain he can waive it, but he has little reason to. Only reason would be to ensure he doesn't get claimed by some team with a ton of cap space that thinks he may be worth the risk, like Bears who have 42 million next year, however that would be a long shot.

I was wondering what his contract was like.

This sounds more like something the Skins would start to try to get some action going than it does something that we'd let leak. No interest in RGIII as anything but a free agent, and even then, not all that interested, anyway.

This is 2015. Some lowdown, yellow-bellied, lily-livered pencil necks have probably declared that dogface is an insulting term and is not pc.

The front office could not be that stupid to make a play for RG3 and walk into the season thinking all is well. I refuse to believe it.

I was wondering what his contract was like.

It is 3.2M guaranteed for this year which would go to the new team if he is traded or claimed on waivers. If he it cut and not claimed on waives then the Skins would owe him he 3.2M. A team could sign him after he cleared waivers for whatever contract he would agree to sign.

The big issue is that the Skins picked up his 2016 option which is guaranteed for injury and it is 16M. Any team getting him in a trade or on waivers would inherit the option; although, I think he could agree to decline the option.

The Commanders would LOOOOOVE to trade RG3 and get rid of his salary.

It aint happening.

If he is cut he will clear waivers and sign anywhere he wants.

Whoever started that rumor is severely miss informed or just lying.
