A loser organization that just won a SB. You can hate a rival but appreciate what they did.
A stopped clock is right twice a day.

Note to Millennials: Hopefully you've seen an old style clock at Grandma's house. If not search "analog clock" on google...

For anyone who believes the league would have already announced a failed drug test, here is an example of what happens. This is Randy Gregory's situation prior to being banished. He was already serving a 4 game suspension and a 10 game suspension in 2016 forcing him to miss the first 14 games and making him eligible to return in week 16 for the final 2 games.

The first article is the rumor that Gregory has failed another test and is facing a banishment. Notice how the NFL told Rapoport that they were unaware of any failed tests. At this point, it was just an unconfirmed rumor that was leaked.

Gregory was able to come back for weeks 16 and 17 and it was widely known he would be banished but the league did not officially announce it until January 5th.

We don't know if he failed a test or not, but don't think that he hasn't just because the NFL hasn't officially stated he has. If he has, he would be notified and he would be allowed to appeal. If he loses the appeal the NFL would offically announce the punishment. Otherwise it will remain a rumor unless Gregory or his camp confirms it.

Something else to consider.

Dallas obviously knew about this but we made roster decisions like we expected him to be here long term.
They cut Tapper and didn't keep a DE on the practice squad the last I checked. They only kept 4 on the 53 and the always carry 4 on the gameday roster.

Maybe they're getting a DE from Seattle in the Earl Thomas trade...

No. But I also don't think it's fair to tell Zordon to put an Eagles Jersey on, Bayes. You're a good poster. Just way off on that post.

Sorry for derailing this thread, all.

On topic: I am beside myself. This is still sinking in. Of course the news comes out on game day. Cuz Dallas. Piss in our wheaties.

I was seeing fans that previously chastised RGregory, starting to get on his hype train. It was wonderful. I loved it. I was one of the few that would hold down fort on 25 page "we should cut" Gregory threads that were a regular here 2 years ago. Some of those posters, like RXP and Nightman (just to name a couple posters off the top of my head), actually came around and allowed RG to re-earn their trust. I don't blame anyone's reluctance to trust him, now (assuming this ISN'T a nothing burger).

With that said, I will continue to do so (have faith in RG). Until it is official he's suspended again. I will never waiver from my support of Gregory, despite being very worried right now.

I don’t tell everyone who says that kind of stuff to put an Eagles jersey on. But Zordon has been doing this for years. I remember when the Eagles had Chip Kelly he made a post about how we would never win the division again. It’s just tiresome and I come to this board to talk about the Cowboys.

Saw that on Gameday morning.

I love the term relapse. I feel if it was a failed drug test, why not just say that.

God I hate the media.

masters of weasel words to get the clicks. All about the $$$ and not the news as we would prefer it

Bayes, we're gonna talk Eagles here. For many of us, they're our most hated rival (I know some of the 50's and over posters hate the Skins/Stealers more than the Eagles)... but they just won a SB, have a fanbase we love to trash, and are relevant, and have been since 2004 (off and on, but still).

We gonna talk our rivals. And some fans may see things in our rivals that they like. It's nothing new. And it doesn't warrant our posters being called rival fans.

we know have 3 DEs on the roster, this guy continues to sink our season after season for trusting him and giving him all the help he needs.
and people were putting him as a starter and giving him 10+ sacks for the season. as parcells use to say, if you are not on the field, you can't do anything....he is not on the field. not reliable. freaking his 4th year in the league. been caught 4 times and suspended twice. get you ****** head screwed on right. get yourself a coach, therapist and a mentor and stay the straight path. you just said bye to millions of dollars...

Incase we win big they want us to feel like crap and suspend him

It could happen in the 4th quarter.

Goodell has one of these labeled Randy Gregory. When he presses it, a suspension notice automatically gets sent out.

Let's hope, Presgoat.

Prayer circle, folks!

He has to be on such thin ice that the League wouldn’t even wait to launch him if something did happen, right?

I mean they wouldn’t even let him dress. If #94 isn’t on sideline then it’s true.
