I'll wait until I know more. I said last week this will probably be ongoing with Gregory. There are always going to be stories about him..some true some not.
I'm just as tired of this headline as I'm tired of the ET headline . If he insists on smoking weed and weed is forbidden...let the guy go..cut him. If the NFL has a No Tolerence policy. The players must do it . I'm sure this will be a hot issue with the next CBA.

Note to XWalker, google grandfather clock. We we're getting them shipped back from Germany. Black Forrest wood. Fraction of the cost.

Millennial, here.
Trouty was a professor in a previous life. He is only a hybrid Millennial...

Dude, aside from the Gregory portion of your post (which I wholeheartedly agree with), there is nothing more disgusting on this site than our good members getting called rival team's fans.

I see it with everyone from yourself (now), to Sydla, to Alexander etc. It is disgusting. It hasn't happened to me, yet, but I'm sure it's only a matter of time.

You guys have much more patience than I, Z. You are a wonderful DALLAS COWBOYS fan, and such an asset for our site. I want to balance out that negativity from that other post. Sorry for harping on it in a thread unrelated to this. Still, everyone here should know how much of a true-blue Cowboys fan you are, and not deserving of that nasty bull **** shade.

I am not convinced that the issues affecting a small segment of the player union will be a major talking point in the next contract negotiations but I too am very interested to see what will or will not be discussed on the topic.

I will say this. If he failed for weed again then I have no sympathy for him. He quit using pot for a year and you don’t relapse from pot. You choose to smoke it. Bo-polar is not a excuse for that. He is on meds for that. If he failed then it’s time for JJ to move on and needs to quit picking these players up. I would tell my players that if you fail enough of these tests to be suspended for a year then your gone. That’s 7 tests you have failed. No other team will pick them up. No one wanted Irving. And they won’t want him next year either. They are throwing away millions of dollars for pot. Irving would be collecting about 10 million a year right now if he didn’t do dumb stuff. Instead if JJ decides to keep him then he will pay him about 3 million again.

If this turns out to be a false report, will all people that freaked out then go to a therapist and get themselves a mentor...

I hope the reports are false I also know many fans when it come to the benefit of the doubt has sailed on Gregory. Are reports like it worrisome? you bet we not talking 1st time violator here. Gregory history is cause for concern with fans. Again I'm hoping like hell this is a false report or that there is nothing to it

I'm tired of the Cowboys taking gambles on projects especially on the defense. That's one reason it's taken a long time for the defense to come together. I'm all for moving on if he failed a test.

Everyone whining about the Cowboys being targeted needs to grow up. RG is extraordinarily fortunate to still be in the league. If not for his elite skill at sacking the QB, he and this are a non-story. The Cowboys FO believe they can repetitively make poor decisions with regards to character concerns.

Who knows what this all means? If RG did fail yet another test, then they need to ban him from the league permanently and just be done with it. In some ways, keeping him on a hook is better for the league and Cowboys. Just adds to the publicity. I don't care to follow this story at this point.

Obviously it could be true, but just a week or two ago there were meltdown threads because a tweet by one of those national reporters said he was meeting with the league.

It turned out that it was a pre-scheduled meeting that was a requirement for him to play game 1.

Too bad the internet was not around for "The Boy that cried Wolf" because people would have continued to believe him...

Yeah if he has failed a test then it would have been a done deal when he met with the league a few weeks ago.

Sooo if it was in August, why wait til right before our game to drop this news when we have already made all our roster moves??

Guess they want to keep whippin' up on Jerry.

Someone planted a Giant rumor to cause discord and distraction, which leads to losses. Gregory’s an easy target.

I can honestly say I had no meltdown because of the meeting nor am I having a meltdown now. I will say for many of us there is no benefit of the doubt left for Gregory and it is not because of the media it is not because of Goodell or the NFL it is due to the past actions of Gregory himself. When rumors come out as they did in the past of a violation by Gregory I take that seriously because in the past those rumors were real. In the end if has violated the policy then Cowboys need to move on if they are false then great but given his past I see no reason for fans not to be concerned.
