BuffaloBills.com beat writer Chris Brown is "hearing" that the Chargers are willing to part with Michael Turner for an early second-round pick.

It was believed earlier this offseason that Turner could only be had for a first-rounder, so it's possible GM A.J. Smith has lowered his asking price. The Texans, Browns, Bills, and Falcons could have interest.

Get on this, Jerra.
Is there really a surer thing in the 2nd round of the draft than Turner?

The answer is no, there is not.

True.

Still, I'd give Julius and a 3rd or 4th rounder.

Turner is a complete RB with exceptional power and speed.

I'll be honest, I don't know much about him as I haven't seen him much, but I have a bad feeling about other team's backup runningbacks.

Don't watch much football, do ya?

Would be easy to miss Burner Turner. I mean, it's not like you tune in and see him playing a lot. You see LT.

He is good but I would not sign him for a second unless I could move JJ.

But this guy is behind arguably the best in the league right now ....

Actually, LT usually had 100+ yards and at least a TD last season before halftime.

Turner ended up relieving him for the entire 2nd half of many games and they never even lost a step in the running game.
He is very good.

I'm not too keen on trading premium draft picks for relatively unproven backups

San Diego has a very good line, that TE, damn, his name keeps escaping me, opens up the middle of the field very well, and he's coming off the heels of LT wearing the D down

That's a good observation. Certainly worthy enough to start bidding for his services.

Antonio Gates.
And yes, it's true, they have a RB friendly scheme and personnel over there.

But this guy averaged 6.3 a carry last season and managed to put 500 yards on only 80 carries.
