Any gamble is a bad gamble at this point. Urban Meyers is no gamble. He can lead and he can win. He's had success with the likes of Alex Smith, Colin Kaepernick, Tyrod freakin' Taylor, ect.
He knows offense.
Can he command an entire locker room? None of us know.
Wouldn't be a bad gamble at all, though.
Anyone that thinks Roman’s success with QBs is limited to just Lamar Jackson shouldn’t be commenting on the thread, lol.

Crap? lol He took a QB who was a back up for 4 years, had not starts, had played in 14 games and made him a probowler. Under Roman Taylor finished in the top 10 both year in QBR. Buff as a team finished 10th and 12th in scoring both years Roman was there. Again, we are talking about Buff and Tyrod as a qb. They avg 24 and 25 ppg in the 2 years with a top 10 finish and I cant stop pointing out, this was with Tyrod Taylor as the starting QB. I can go into what he did with SF and Smith and how he adjusted mid season to fit the offense for Kap if you would like.I don't get him either.
He was crap with the Bills.
