Brees has a very tight window of still being great. You could see the decline starting last year at times. Tampa does need lots of other pieces, particularly on D and the OL. The additional picks would help, but this strategy just doesn't make long term sense IMO.

The Bucs are going to draft Winston and build around him.

I did that a few years back right in front of the big lunch room window of a nursing home. Was going in to visit someone and tripped on the curb and stumbled what seemed like 20 feet trying to get my balance before eventually falling and getting grass stains on my jeans.

Looked up and a bunch of old people were staring out the window looking at me.

You trade for 36 year-old Drew Brees if you are a QB away from contending for the SB and the next two years are your last shots at keeping your core together if they're on friendly contracts.

You don't trade for 36 year-old Drew Brees if you are Tampa Bay and have absolutely no core to build around and no hope until 2017 at best.

I would love to see this happen just to watch the internet explode.
