Run down on Broderick Jones for Dallas people

Absolutely. Great way of putting it. And this staff did not like what they saw out of Steele. Got to trust ‘em.
And so people don’t say well we watched tapes. We know what we saw.
You don’t know what you have until you see what you have with your own group after your own coaches design a scheme

It doesn’t matter why they moved him there. He has the muscle memory and experience on that side.

He has struggled at LT. Why not see if he succeeds more at his natural position rather than counting on him to develop at LT where he clearly hasn’t?
lol. Twisting and turning any old way to hate on this trade, aren’t ya?

You really are reaching now though.

But since you bring up ‘muscle memory’, Guyton’s is related to playing blindside, which at college, with a left-handed QB, was the right side.

Idk if you’ve played OL. I have. Right and left barely matters; it’s blindside vs frontside.

So you’re wrong: it totally matters why he was switched out there. For as long as he’s been a tackle, he’s been a blindside tackle.

But yeah, let’s just go and try to totally rewire a guy who’s had a hard, five-year development arc at the same position. Great idea, mate…

So we traded a third round pick for a swing tackle?

LOL, in fairness I wanted Jerry to be aggressive but I always worried he would be aggressively stupid.

Yeah I know we got a 4th back. I’d rather have my third.
And you might just get that back who knows can we just wait until everything’s done, something is different this season and I’m just going to let it happen before I criticize it

It’s most probably a matter of 15-20 places lower…

This entire preseason, the biggest complaint, was the offensive line
We do something about it, and it’s still the biggest complaint

Interesting read .........assume you have already read it

It appears he can play........Steelers couldn't decide if he was an LT or RT. Interestingly, he had a couple of real stinkers but there were also games where he played at a high level.

In the 2025 offseason, it was revealed that Jones was to start the regular season as the team's starting left tackle.[19]

Jones faced criticism for his performances through the beginning of the season.[20] In Week 1 against the New York Jets, Jones gave up three sacks on quarterback Aaron Rodgers. However, he would rebound and continue to improve, allowing only 3 sacks total from Week 2 to Week 10. On November 29, 2025, Jones was placed on injured reserve after suffering a neck injury in Week 12 against the Chicago Bears.[21] The next day, it was announced that he would miss the remainder of the season due to the injury

Why are people ignoring the career-threatening injury. He has a lot of work to do to get back to where he was, and we only have him under contract for this year.

They can’t help themselves, man.

So many addicts to either hating or homer-ing on this board.

Actually, it appears that he can help.
In a world of people on either side of the glass half-full and glass half-empty debate, theres always a few that are the glass is overflowing and the glass is bone dry

That’s what we do here, a lot of complaining,
We’re not happy if we’re not complaining
I’m more of a wait-and-see,
I do have my venting moments lol

That’s the first thing I paid attention to was the decompression surgery, but I’ve gone through it like many other athletes, and we’re fine, our best offensive tackle I believe went through it ,Smith

Some are still being blown, into shape, LMAO. I know it’s a family site.

Who would you rather have Jake Ferguson or Jalen Tolbert, Tyler Biadasz or Neville Gailimore, Tony Pollard or Conner McGovern, Dak Prescott or Maliek Collins.
I'd rather have the 3rd in what's supposed to be a stacked draft than a bust with a bum neck!
