One thing for sure all the talk of RB is not a concern for the Cowboys is non sense, bringing in vet RB tells me they are still looking. I also would not be surprised if Dallas is talking with other teams at this stage.

I have no doubt about it, this position is wide open.

Nope never part of my thinking. I work with several people in the Minn area and they (fans) do not want him back. I still think he will end up being released or traded for the Patriots equipment staff. I may be wrong and I may not. Time will tell; regardless of that outcome the team is still searching for a RB.

The Cowboys have had a good offseason because they've been patient and have not tried to force anything.

Plus, and I realize you know this, they said they will always look to improve the team--at all positions.
Saying they aren't concerned is not at all the same thing.
I suspect they have more concern at RB that at oline though.

I agree that they are looking and that they have some questions still about the running back position. Unfortunately bringing in Ben Tatertot and Felix Jones do not make me feel awesome about the method they are choosing to ease the concerns they have.

I also believe the starting running back is already on this team. I don't love that thought...In fact it keeps me coming back to this message board in hopes of some news of a better option.
However, if they don't believe anyone on the team should be good enough to start then why waste time bringing in 3rd tier backs like Tate and Felix. Its not like we really need to churn the bottom of the running back roster.

I believe that if you don't think your starting back is on the team then you save the 3rd tier guys time and you go out and get the back you want starting. I don't know where that is. Miami, Minny, who knows....

Bringing in Ben Tate tells me they fully intent to go RBBC and they are looking for the short yardage back.

No need to spin this. There are folks here that said the FO knew what they were doing and we were fine at Back position. I'm cool with that.

However, I got called out that I didn't know what I'm talking about and that we were fine for disagreeing with the FO.

Take it as it is. What the FO was saying was nothing more than spin. They really do need to upgrade the RB position.

Then that's what I would look at him for. Not to handle many carries.

Ben Tate? Know's how to run in a zone blocking scheme but has stunk ever since he signed a pay day.

I just think it's a looksie, nothing substantial here.

I cant help but think there is a trade a brewing. If Lamar Miller came here id be elated with this offseason. Unless of course AP comes then ill just fly off the handle and probably end up in prison.
