Running back candidates

Broaddus talked to a scout for another team. Felix ran a 4.57

So now the Cowboys new mouth piece is taking advice from another teams scout......and passing it as fact.

Even though the official numbers are posted.....

Either Broaddus is just that dumb to accept another teams scouting report.....or he is being cut out of the loop

We worked out some WR's, too. We must not believe in them, either.

wow, this thread went wild fast........but it does confirm that Dallas is not happy with the current clowns....I mean RBs, at this time. Those saying they are happy with the 4 horsemen are whistling through the graveyard. I knew Dallas would be turning over rocks to find something, but now they picked up a shovel and have started digging for dead bodies. That is just wrong. Let them RIP.

It wasn't close huh?
Romo 3700 yards 34 TD's
Brady 4100 yards 33 TD's

Then there was this little super bowl championship thing.
Seems pretty close. Saying he better be Tom Brady isn't a knock on Romo. It's just a fact that Brady is exceptional every year. We better get a performance next year from Romo like we got last year.

Your absolutely right, I sure hope we get the same "Romo" from last year, unfortunately I'm no where NEAR as comfortable as the front office says they are about our current stable of Running Backs! It's very clear to me that a STRONG, RELIABLE, Running Game complimented Romo's game, it elevated him to the level we need & I believe he had the highest QB rating in the NFL, last season! Either way we need that Workhorse back to go with this stellar deep OL the front office has assembled, now is the time! Right now we don't have "All Day" to figure this thing out but we may have "All Day" at the end of the day! LOL. See what I did there?

Just say you were wrong when you said it wasn't even close. Wasn't even close? All the stats look very close with some favoring Brady and some favoring Romo. Brady won another Super Bowl with no real running backs and no real receivers surrounding him. Give the man the credit he deserves.

Lmfbo...hahaha.. Give the man credit he deserves?! Yeah, ok. He deserves to miss an entire season for blatantly cheating and then not cooperating with the NFL's investigation. His team and now Tom Brady himself have been caught red handed trying to gain a competitive advantage several times already...I don't care how anyone spins it.. IT'S CHEATING!.

Now on to the numbers.. I love it when people throw out Championships and act like the QB was the only player on the field. It takes a discipline, talented, and hungry group of 53 players buying into the coaches schemes to win a championship. It helps that Brady had a coach that most consider one of the best for his WHOLE career. So to say Brady is better than Romo based on that is ridiculous. Brady couldn't wear Dan Marino's underwear in comparison. So please pump the brakes on your counter argument. Career statistical evidence closes the comparison gap, but is also flawed due to what a QB is asked to do based on the team surrounding him. For example, Troy Aikman was one of the most accurate QB's of all time, but he didn't put up tremendous numbers due to the all-time leading rusher behind him and NFL rules didn't favor QB's at the time. (There's a reason why the tuck rule was installed- partly due to a crying Tom Brady). Tony Romo has a better career QB rating, TD percentage, and through his first 100 games.. was the top five QB all-time! And he did this with teams that were mediocre at best. And Brady can only dream of having the skill set to allude on coming pass rushers.

So next time you want to get on a Cowboys blog and promote Tom Brady.. DON'T. Its lame. I hear there are other sites to talk ab brady, you might want to visit them..I hear his feeling a little deflated these days.

Why does everyone discredit Legarrette Blount?

He's a 1000 yard back with a pot habit and anger issues.... but he can run the ball, he killed the colts for 148 yards in the championship game, and you best believe the Seahawks were aware of that... stop with the "NE had no running back" mantra...
if it wasn't for Blount, you wouldn't be speaking about the Pats a Super Bowl champs.... and please stop comparing them to us... WE ARE NOT THEM!

I can finish the title of this thread.....
"RB Daniel Thomas Dolphins suck" (fins or thomas... you choose which one sucks:D)

Since i live in south Florida i watch the Dolphins. Maybe for 3rd down and short yardage, otherwise no thanks.

CJ2K... seriously Joneses... the guy has only had 1 season where he had less than 1,400 total yards and that was only because he was used in a limited capacity last year. Yea I know he isn't the 2,000 yard back he once was... but he did help the Jets to have the #3 rushing attack last year. Just get it done.
