TOTALLY AGREE! This is why the talk & speculation continues about AD. Simply put, it takes time, a little shufflin, eventually after all the "Behind the scenes" talks about what's in the trade is complete, then they will be "Allowed" to talk to AD, again I'm guessing on a contract restructure with some "Guaranteed Money" making Peterson happy & a lower per season CAP hit making the Cowboys (And us Fans) happy, this to will take time. Meanwhile, we get to keep hearing "Rumors" while the "Dog & Pony Show" OR in this case the "Ben & Felix Show" is going on to mess with the mgmt. in Minnesota, as Silver & Blue Put It! My guess, whatever's on the table is either to high or close to what Dallas would go for in lieu of a trade & this is where you "Show" your going in another direction, could be the difference between a 2nd round pick to a 3rd. I say do whatcha need to do Jones, just get it done!

Minnesota isn't gonna trade Peterson unless Jerry does the Anti-Herschal Walker trade.....and gives Minnesota back all of their draft chioces.

In a way....It would almost be fitting to see Jerry pull this stunt. His one last swing for the fences before riding off into the sunset.

You can laugh, but there is absolutely no way they have any interest at all in Ben Tate or Felix Jones. Zero, zilch, nada.



Not if you want to win a Super Bowl. He'd be the Vegas odds-on favorite to win the MVP the day it happened.

There's no first-round pick with that impact out there next year.

Peterson behind this line would be a force no team could match.

And this right here is WHY with the window closing & the slew of compensatory picks coming in next year's draft, that hands down, erod's post above, is spot on. Why does everyone discredit Legarrette Blount?

He's a 1000 yard back with a pot habit and anger issues.... but he can run the ball, he killed the colts for 148 yards in the championship game, and you best believe the Seahawks were aware of that... stop with the "NE had no running back" mantra...

They also picked apart a Defense that would supposedly rip your head off if you went underneath.

Maybe it was all the injuries to the secondary but Brady hit Edelman and Vereen all game and hit Gronk for TDs when they covered him with a LB.
