Running back market is flooded

Call me old school ... But if Murray is gone. I would rather see a RB drafted and if good enough start from week 1. I would like to see the next great back at Dallas be a Dallas guy!

And there you have it.

Im totally for having a stud RB, but itsnot remotely a prerequisite to success.
Sure helps though....a d certainly if you defense is average.

Well said.

And I agree with all the points you've made.

My point wasn't even necessarily to get anyone on the list, rather with all those names potentially available, I don't see big money flying towards anyone.

There you go... that should be the point made. The days of the big money RBs should be over for now.

Seattle isn't dumb enough to let Lynch walk. They gave him his extra cash after sitting out TC because they know that they were gonna need him. We should be thinking the same way about Murray.

After this game the Seatle front office would get lynched (pun intended) if they let him go

This is a deep draft... I like Telvin Coleman in the second or third. He is a Murray clone. I keep Randle despite him being a knucklehead. Dunbar is expendable and I wouldn't be surprised if we drafted another running back as well.

I hope the Cowboys draft a 'bruiser' type RB - they already have speed guys in Randle and Dunbar. They should spend a mid-round pick on a 'between-the-tackles' downhill pounder like Kenny Hilliard, David Cobb, Matt Jones, or Malcolm Brown.

The draft is the way to go on RBs. One of the most immediately reliable return-on-investment, bang-for-buck positions, too.

With his style of game, time is running out for Lynch, I'm not sure if they can just let him walk, especially after back to back super bowl trips, but it's coming soon.

If you listen to Stephen Jones last week he pretty much laid out the plan they have. Draft a RB and you have him for 4 yrs. Then draft another RB. This team isnt going to pay millions for a rb, when they can have one for thousands.

I would draft that RB from LSU. Reminds me a bit of Bettis. Big with a lot of power but also quick. With him and the O-line they could wear defenses down quick

CJ Spiller behind this OL = oooooooooo my gooooooooood

People are going to laugh bc he hasn't lived up to the hype...but his speed with the holes this line generates...yikes

You could be right. He has some upside. I don't get why things aren't working out for him in Buffalo.

Ingram is probably the best value.

Moreno is a beast but hes 28 and has been banged up.

Ingram would be a nice power back to add but I think he may have earned a contract that will overpay.

Roy Helu is one of the best pass blocking backs in the league and a great receiver. He can run lights out too. Power and speed both. Injuries a concern.

Ridley a great runner but he fumbles to. I don't know if will lose speed which he isn't noted for but he should be a cheap sign for 1 year to prove he is still a player.

A ridley/Helu signing to go with Williams and randle works for me if they can't keep Demarco. I'd really like to get roy Helu.
