Clinton Portis
Davis/Foster
Jackson/Faulk

Other than a few games, our run defense is really going to continue to be tested all year.

Holmes is the only one that scares me, maybe denver's rbs too...

it's a very impressive list, all of them must be given the respect they deserve..

barber has burned us pretty bad lately, especially in the first game we played them last year

westbrook is in my opinion the eagles best offensive weapon, so versatile

alexander is one of the top backs in the league, 1 yard away from the rushing title last year

jones had an impressive rookie season last year, although i haven't watched him very closely this year, i'm sure he could give us problems... he scored the first TD in the game against us last year

holmes is a touchdown machine, add in that larry johnson has been very impressive lately, their running game could screw us over

portis is extremely fast, if he gets open, it's over, in my opinion he might be a bit over rated because of how well he performed in denver, he's still a very good player

davis and foster might be one of the better running back duos, aside from holmes and johnson

and jackson, if used properly, could be a beast... that game will depend on which side of the bed mike marts rolled off on

those are the running backs who scare me

what nflteam doesnt have a good rb these days?honestly

thats the most easy position to find a gem in the nfl.there is only like 3 or so teams that dont have a good rb

Actually from a RUNNING point of view: Holmes is getting a little old- Johnson and Jackson are upright guys- we should be able to contain them. Portis we already shut down. Tiki is the most dangerous RUNNING back on the schedule. We contained ALlexander last year pretty well and we have a much better D this year. Jones- could be a problem but the way Harrington is stinking the place up that might not matter.
Good thing about playing the Giants is that Eli is still got his training wheels on. Realistically Tiki is the only running back that can eat us up running the ball. The rest do not scare me.

Beware of Tiki "Cowboy Killer" Barber. When New York has beaten Dallas of late he has always played a major role.

Kevin Barlow -Not a threat, shouldnt be able to breath. (Can you imagine if Bills proposed trade for him went though?)
Lamont Jordan- Threat catching the ball. Should be in check rushing.
Brian Westbrook- See above, but times 5
Tiki Barber- Will get some yards, keep him from the big play though and should be alright
Shaun Alexander- Will prob. score, but Im sure hell have an eye on Roy.
Arrington/Shipp/Who ever- Not a real threat. Warner will have a rough day IMO

Brian Westbrook
Kevin Jones- Shifty player, could make our LB's miss. But will not like our interior.
Mike Anderson/Who ever- No one they have will do real damage, but there will be holes all day.
Tiki Barber
Priest Holmes- Him and Larry will probably do some damage. I've chalked this as a loss already.
Clinton Portis
Davis/Foster Decent backfield. Tough game
Jackson/Faulk- Jackson is talented. But they pass way too much for him to be a huge factor.

that is one impressive list of running backs who will wake up injured and spend quite a few hours in the tub.

Deshaun Foster is good. I really like him. But imagine if we go the year and face that list and only give up 1 or 2 100 yard days to a back. Man, that would be awesome.

Many backs will be kept in for protection so its possible to have few 100 yard days actually. If we are putting pressure, teams will keep their backs in protection. that will be good for us so long as the secondary plays decent.

So many ifs.

What doesn't scare you about Shaun Alexander?

The guy is amazing and seriously underrated year after year.
