Running Backs - who is 2?

Ya Davis isnt sexy, but he is solid. Did well in small samples and is the type of back that can grind if you have to give him 18 carries. Blue should be a more effective back in small samples, but he hasnt proven anything yet.

Why should Blue be more effective? I don't see that at all. He looks like a strictly space back w/ maybe 5-10 touches, and that's if he cuts his crapp and gets serious. At present, he's a nothing.

ESPN Analyst Matt Bowen mentioned FA Nick Chubb as good fit for short yardage and series fill ins for Williams .

I prefer they go to camp start pre season see who the hot hand is and reward the back already on the roster . Davis started one game last year had a 100 yards against Wash . Blue had what 70 in one half against the Giants .

This is my only concern on the Cowboys offense, 2nd string RB. If something happens to Javonte Williams this year and he has to miss games we could be looking at defenses loading up against the pass against the Cowboys. The last thing we need is relying to much on Dak in big games. Dak needs to be treated like John Elway was in his championship years, have a very good RB to take pressure off of him.

Yeah, if we're talking last year, I agree. He hasn't been most of his years here, which is why he was on the practice squad, but he was the best of a bad backup bunch last year.
