It's not so much the personnel it's the intransient gameplan that RB1 gets the majority of the ball (regardless of opposition, whether the play suits him and what's working). If we want to play between the hatches why not Luepke / Rico.

Being the starting RB on a team that wants to run a lot and for tough yards is s mindset thing that a complimentary back like Pollard just does not have.

Everyone thought Pollard could be a lead back and have the production he had when he was a #2. He has doubles Elliots production. But still don’t look good. I think MM was hoping Deuce would be more of an impact. Our O-Line has not been playing well. We need to correct that.

This FO has never been proactive. Anyone who understands football knew a running game was important and that Pollard couldnt shoulder the load. If I am Jerry I am thinking seriously about trading for James Connor.

This is the bigger issue then our QB, we cannot run the football with any success.

They don’t want to pay more this season. So we have scrubs.

With Tony gone in 24 and the Zeke hit done, maybe we get a RB.
