Start Lance. Need to finish the year at less than 5 wins. Securing a top 3 pick should be priority.

Why try to win, Fats McCarthy? You're not going to be here next year. Best thing you can do for the Cowboys is keep Cooper Rush in the game all game long and secure those losses. Best chance to keep losing and move up higher in the draft next year. This season is toast. Best to lose out.

For crying out loud. at least hire a new offensive line coach. we can get some coaching to these young guys, because they're not as bad as they look.

I remember this was our #1 offseason change wish, and again after a couple games this season, now it would be like getting an Atari for Christmas

But it's not too late. I would love to get some evaluation of these young guys in before the draft. At least get their positions set and what they're best at, cuz right now the entire organization is clueless.

I don't think the Commanders are going to loose sleep over a "Package" for Lance. They are 10.5 point favorites playing against a team that has no chance of being relevant for the rest of the year.
I wouldn’t think so either, but it rubbed me along the lines of essentially announcing they would cut Cooper if they couldn’t trade him.

Doesn’t make much of a difference but they would be much better served to shut their mouths.

Reality is Lance is gone after this season unless Jerry decides to play him and play him a lot and he really shows something. Then you would have resign him and compete against other teams for his services.

PS. Plan B would be to not to play him unless you have to and essentially Red Shirt him for the remainder of this year and resign him for almost nothing. He would be the backup for next year and Mr. Rush is shown the door.

Dan Quinn is sitting behind his desk right now drooling. When he accepted the Deadskin's gig he never imagined his revenge tour against Dallas would be served up this sweet.

B-b-b-but THIS is the opportunity to see if Lance is even WORTH resigning… don’t let it pass you by before you make yet ANOTHER stupid move, Cowboys.

I swear this franchise operates in it's own bubble, where the main goal is to support the Owner's ego, and hope for wins along the way.

As soon as Dak went down: you had every excuse to give 24 y/o. and top 5 draft pick Lance snaps with 2/3 of a season to evaluate if he's worth anything.

This club is bottom 3 in the NFL. "We have a package for him".

Why bother?
