At what price?

Well........2022 QB tag value is $29.7M. He's currently making $23m on the 5th-year option. Let's say the 2023 QB value goes to $33M and 2024 $35M. So the next three years he has zero leverage other than holding out but huge risk when you run as much as he does.

Based on what Dak has delivered he is below average. He's a limited QB who isn't going to beat the better competition with his arm.

and that is your own opinion. Fact is QB are paid big money there is nothing limited about Dak's ability. You say otherwise big fricken deal another message board poster who dislike Dak mean nothing

and Dak falls down the salary scale, just as I predicted when he signed his deal. lol Dak contract is becoming avg. lol
Only about 10ish more QBs need to be making more than him before his contract is properly ranked amongst his QB peers.

some are still on rookie contracts, This BS that Dak is paid too much, well it is the NFL market of the QB position. You got a beef with it, take it up with the league. lol

Dak haters better get ready because Dak will probably get an extension this offseason as well.:omg:
Why do you seem like you'd rather continue losing and getting nowhere just so you can have 1 up on the people that are ready to try and get a real QB so this team can maybe go somewhere?

Dak is not the problem with the Cowboys. The Joneses are.

and Dak dropped from 2 to 8 pretty damn quick. Next up Lamar Jackson who will be looking for a big pay day. Fact is the difference between Dak and the highest paid is 10 mill avg per year

most knew this was coming when the contract was done. You know the drill, some will just move on to the next narrative to blame the QB for the last 26 years...Some here still think that bringing Sean here as HC will change things....I do see some change as its been a while since the GM built anything on the D side of the ball so.. who knows maybe the reaper has him changing his mind.....

Isn't the tag the average of the top 5 paid QB's?

If so, the franchise tag will be close to $45M. The 2nd tag will be 120% of that or $54M. A third tag will be close to $70M.
