Are you saying 4 seasons with 30 passing TDs?

Think I messed that up, glad ya caught it. What in the hell am talking about, ah DUH!!!!

See if I can fix it.

Here we go....

With that touchdown, Wilson becomes the third quarterback in NFL history to have at least four seasons with 30+ touchdown passes.

The thing about Wilsons first nine seasons is how many times we see the words,,,,,only,...first,,,,history. The guy has done things never seen before, that is a fact.

Not saying Russ isn't great ......
But there are way more than 3 QBs with at least four seasons with 30+ touchdown passes

Just off top of my head
  • Brady
  • Rodgers
  • Favre
  • Brees
  • P Manning
  • Marino
  • Romo
  • Rivers

I'm sure there's more

Seasons w/30+ Touchdowns
Favre: 8
Manning: 9 (twice he had more than 40 and once over 50!)
Romo: 4
Marino: 4 (once over 40)
Brady: 8 (once over 50)
etc.

30 TD passes in the first nine seasons of the career, hmmm?

Wilson,,,,5
Favre,,,,5 but a ton of INT's
Rodgers....3, we all know his story
Marino....3
Peyton....3 like Favre a ton of INT's
Drew....1
Big Ben.....1
Tommy "THE GOAT" Brady...1
Joe Montana only had ...1....30 td season his entire career

So nobody had more 30 td's seasons than Russell Wilson the first nine seasons of the career?

Now let's take all these greats/legends/elite/iconic and compare what they did in the rushing vs Russell Wilson. Why not?

So what QB in NFL history had over 800 yards rushing, 40 td passing, over 110 passer rating, over a 68 comp% in the first nine seasons of the career, and never missed a game, never sat on a bench. Who?

You can slice and dice it anyway ya want nobody was more impressive than Russell Wilson the first nine seasons of their career.

Is Wilson the only over 800 yards rushing in a season and 40 TD passes in a season?

Four seasons in a row of 30 or more, gotta be that.

That might make sense. He had his 4th consecutive 30 TD game this last year. He is one of the elites and is very consistent.

Thing about Wilson is how he walked right in and took over, that is impressive. Then he precedes to never miss a game. Think about that.

The great Joe Montana played how many 16 game seasons in his career? Tom Brady sat on a bench, Aaron Rodgers sat on a bench as did Patrick Mahomes, hell with the why that is the fact.

This guy has done things never seen before, the first to do this, the first to do that, cat is a bonafide stud.

Then to come home to.....

Oh yeah, Montana only played in 4 16 game seasons in his 16 year career.

Brady, Rodgers, and Mahomes had good QBs in front of them, Wilson didn't. If Wilson had a Farve in front on him, he'd have sat too.

We all know that, but the facts are Wilson walked right in and started day one and they didn't. Simply a fact! The how the why a total non factor.

Senior season at Wisconsin he sets an NCAA record 191. forget for a passer rating,,,,,NCAA record!
His rookie NFL season, another better than 100 passer rating, ties the rookie td passes record with 26(Peyton)
His second season he has another 100 passer rating and wins the Superbowl.

First QB to have a 100 passer rating first two NFL seasons.

Pretty impressive stuff up there, who compares?

Trust me it's not Joe Montana or Tom Brady.

The how the why is always a factor. To refuse context is to ignore truth

RW is great. But to ignore the fact that Browner and Sherman were drafted in 2011 and improved the defense to 7th, followed by Chancellor the next year, cementing them as the Legion of Boom, and the number 1 ranked defense for years and the reason they won those SBs is not reality. ET was also drafted in 2010. That defense, by the time RW got here, had arguably just began its run as one of the greatest ever. The first SB, that defense in the playoffs generated 8 TOs, including 4 against, at that point, the highest ranking passing scoring offense by a QB in history. RW had only one game over 200 yards and that was 206. He basically protected the ball. The very next year against the Packers, RW threw 4 INTs and it was the L of Boom that stifled AR to 178 yards passing and 1 INT. RW was anemic in the SB against the Patriots as well.

The last pick that lost them the SB I have never really blamed Wilson on; Carrol made that call. There have been hints that RW has kicked himself ever since for not audibling but he as still a pretty young QB then and going against the HC call in the most important play of the game and season takes a lot of stones.
