Russini thinks MM has a 100% chance of getting Bears job

When your owner is just fine with winning 4 wild card playoff games in three decades, wasting a whole decade with Jason Garrett, winning 1 wild card game in Big Mac’s five years here (so far)…it shouldn’t surprise us what his comfort looks like.

I guess what I’m saying is if this owner is interested in keeping things the same with almost nothing to show for it, there cannot be much hope for a brighter future. Hope I’m wrong.
Exactly why If I was MM ......I'm gone unless he's willing to give me everything I need for a successful outcome.

If this part is true, McCarthy should play the negotiating game with Jerry for the next 7-10 days and then bounce. He will likely get the desired $$ and length of contract anywhere but Dallas.
Right, Jerry is probably low balling him as we speak, and Mike is like…”I’ll just wait it out until Tuesday,” as would any team who actually wants to hire him.

Jerry backs himself into corners constantly.

In this case McCarthy either walks or Jerry overpays him and resents him for it and tells him to do more with less.

There are reports, that some key players have approached Jerry to bring MM back. That could have an impact on MM as well ......

I think MM would love to go elsewhere but First & Foremost Job Security Comes First For Him and His Family and Jerry would give Him That..Maybe thats why MM Hasn't Bolted Away By Now

"I 100% think he has a good shot at getting that Chicago Bears job" is not the same as he has a 100% chance of getting the job. LOL

Read the words rather than the thread title.
By this logic I have a 100% chance of getting the Bears job. It's not going to happen but there is a chance no matter how small it may be.

If you have to fight Jerry just to get a fair contract after what he did this season ........what does that tell ya?

he clearly doesn't value peace of mind

I know Mike has been in that division before...but that was with Green Bay. Chicago has been the bottom dweller of that division for a while. I wouldn't want a HC job having to face Minn, Detroit and Green Bay twice a year. But, then, maybe Mike likes a challenge!

You two....get a room sheesh!
He's too cheap and i'm always stuck footing the bill!!! (he never responds to my nice posts though as if he doesn't see them, he sees everything I post seemingly!) Probably in his THOUGHTS right now (I'm just joking around!!!!)

If I’m Mike I’m bolting for that Chicago job. They have cap space, Caleb, and three prime WR’s.
,,, and a GM that didn't just recently screw you over! No doubt Chicago has their own dysfunctions but I can't imagine Dallas looking like they're more poised for success.

I am hesitant on Mike leaving because the next HC will be Zimmer and I don’t want that
