He's a body catcher who can barely get open. He makes a circus catch 4 times a year. Then is nowhere to be found the rest of the time. Guaranteed he leaves here he won't be close to sniffing a wr3 spot anywhere else.

There’s always a random guy that has the it factor and breaks out. Maybe he never goes back to P squad ever again.

There’s nothing wrong with Tolbert. There’s just nothing too special about him either.

I like Flournoy more as well: but Tolbert's NOT a bum. He's made some clutch grabs for this team.

I put Tolbert a notch above say... Kevin Ogletree...

& right below Brice Butler (Butler was a bigger big play threat).

Flournoy could be more of a GB-era Randall Cobb here if given burn.

If anyone finds the highlight, look at the long run where Williams almost scores.... the guy who catches him, if Tolbert makes even the slightest effort to slow him down at all, Williams scores. Tolbert runs up to him and acts like the play should be over, barely even tries to touch him much less block him.

Found it. Tolbert in the slot at the bottom of the screen.

He did similar on the Javonte Williams run where the Bears defender ran back behind him and punched the ball out.

I don't want to pile on Tolbert, but it was frustrating seeing him in the slot so many plays knowing he doesn't have the shiftiness/quickness to get open inside. I was hoping Cropper got an opportunity in the slot because I believe he can get open in there. My point was the coaches should use all the WRs and give these guys some snaps because I believe their loaded, but we'll never know if they don't play.

From a cap perspective, Tolbert probably is gone. But not because he's a terrible player. I was disappointed we didn't see more of Cropper in trash time..at least not that I saw. But I couldn't catch the 4th quarter because I was at work.

You fluke maybe get a 4th or 5th for JT, I suspect. He's not terrible. Just probably not what scouts envisioned.
