Ryan Mathews has been released by Eagles

No.

IF Green Bay tries to stash RB-Aaron Jones on the PS, Cowboys should absolutely jump at the chance to get him in Dallas.

He didn't have many touches this last week but it's a #s game in GB w/ all the RBs there.

Is Bruce Carter starting for any of the Cowboys opponents? Just sign Matthews for that game...

Think it was Woodhead that ripped his sphincter in that game.

And would only consider Matthews if either DMC or Morris are traded. Otherwise not interested.

I always liked him when he was actually on the field. Yes, those two times he looked pretty good.

Injury risk. But really, he looked good when he was out there.

No big surprise honestly. The only real surprise to me was that they didn't do it last year and just dump the entire backfield that they'd signed the year before.

Based on how well Murray has done since leaving Philly I don't think the issue is with the RB but more of an issue of scheme and Philly OL

He can be our Lance Dunbar.
The RB on IR.

Seriously, it's a shame he couldn't stay healthy in his career. Think the guy had legit talent.

Oh I agree. I don't think Murray was the problem them. I said when he signed there that they made a bad signing because he didn't fit their scheme.

He ran for 1,200 yards, scored 14 TDs and averaged 4.6 YPC splitting carries DeMarco Murray and Sproles the past two seasons in Philly.

I can see why everyone thinks he would suck as a backup in Dallas.
