If healthy, yes. I like him better then Hillman and he is a better fit for our Offense. I'd think about bringing him in and going with DMC, Morris and Mathews. Carrying Smith at FB or sending him to PS. When Elliott comes back, just cut or trade one of the three. By next year, if you can hold Smith on the PS, he should be ready to make the team. JMO

I think that if we were to sign him he would come in and be the starter with Zeke out. I like him over DMac. It all comes down to money, but yes I'd kick the tires.

STs is the issue but if it's only 6 games, you could probably bring Smith back up or another ST guy and ride with that the rest of the season.

Wow, I really havent followed Mathews since he went to Philly. He was pretty dang good WHEN healthy with San Deigo. I attributed alot of his poor performances to Chip intially. I figured after that is was injuries. I dont know if hes better than DMC or Alf but I think its fair to ask.

I also dont think Zekes suspension stays at 6 and the Cowboys like thier rbs so I highly doubt wed kick the tires.

DMC can bust a big one when it is blocked but so can I
AMorris is one dimensional and loses a step every year

They both only averaged 3.6 YPC last year behind the The Wall

Off-season, preseason Alf is a stud. The problem is Im not sure where that guy goes when the regular season rolls around.

I'm guessing his $1.094 million salary this year had something to do with it. If we're looking at Hillman I'd look at Mathews.

McFadden is very underrated here. He would've led the league in rushing in 2015 if he played the full season. And he's still under 30 years old. He's by far the second best RB on this team and is more talented than the starters in Philly, N.Y. I think thr Commanders got a great one in Samje Perine.
