Williams has much better balance. He keeps his feet and rarely goes down from ankle tackles.

Doesn't show much cutting ability, though, in the highlight reel (although didn't need to on most of the plays). I like his power and toughness, but Harris showed more stutter-stepping and cutting ... although I didn't really see what I like in that area from him, either.

It's always been my belief that RBs who show an ability to negotiate traffic with their feet stand the best chances of succeeding in the NFL because they don't regularly see the kind of holes they receive in college and the defenders they see are the cream of that crop. RBs who don't possess great side-to-side movement skills have to have other outstanding attributes to have a chance to succeed, such as incredible acceleration.

I see the zone has given up on Randle,I hope the team hasn't because I still think he can be a capable backup even though he doesn't have the break away speed.

I'm not into giving up on a player who is just entering his second season, but I certainly believe in latching onto the best competition available for his roster spot.

Wouldn't even mind if the team found a better starter than Murray because it simply would mean we're stronger than we were at that position.

I just don't see anything in his game physically that's even above average. He appears to be just good enough to barely get what is blocked. Not many RBs hang around the league too long just doing that. Still a young player so we will see....

I think there has been a fundamental change in Big D. Instead of letting everyone kick the tires..while sitting in idle.... they have finally decided to get into the ball game. And I love it!!!!

I wonder if Joseph Randle is nervous?

the picture in your signature is awesome

i'm not a fan of harris cause he seems to blame things on everyone but himself. we'll see if that's just first impression or a trend.

I believe Dallas would have drafted him in the second round if he was there. I believe that was the Sean Lee draft?

Bring him in and have a look. He was a good prospect prior to injuries. It is unlikely he ever shows that type of burst again though. We see it with backs often whether with age or injury. If they lose even a fraction of a step that can be the difference being a good starting running back to a guy out of the league.

I am doubtful he ever regains his top burst, but I am a believer of looking under every rock. Plus he was a guy who you rated highly in the draft.

I love that they are bringing in all kinds of guys to try out...I assume this happens every year but we seem to be hearing more of it this year....

Seems like the guys they are bringing in are actually recognizeable names.

I'm noticing that a lot myself. No big names but blue chippers that can be good in rotation. I would rather sign a bunch of blue chippers that earn it than some big name star that is talented but doesn't help the team that much.

I think blue chippers are stars. You may have meant blue collars.

Was a real player at tech.. Think he had major injuries all 2-3 years he's been in the league unfortunately. If healthy though......

I Liked him coming out of college, and I think Dallas liked him too, if healthy, I'd seriously think of signing him to a contract, only 24 with a ton of upside......

Sign him and let him compete with Randle. If Murray were to get hurt then it will come down to Randle or Williams to start and Dunbar can handle the change of pace role that he already has. Although I still like Glasco Martin as well. I hope Garrett truly opens this competion up and let the best 2 or 3 guys get the jobs behind Murray.

Ryan Williams isn't exactly happy with the Cards right now either.
