agree....seems like a mediocre box safety. Pretty limited guy. This just seems like a signing to make a signing.
The player himself is not especially impressive.
BOX SAFETY.
I don't know if people realize how slow this guy is.
Bengals fans say Iloka was out of position at FS and is best as the SS. You don't put a 4.6 40 at single-high...especially when you have 3 FSs who go 4.5 or better.
Kavon is in trouble.

Both of those are typically associated with corn.As far as I'm concerned our FA additions are Cobb and crap.
Even for a BOX Saftey he’s slow. Teams still pass on 1st down. He is slower than our top 3 LBs.
The only plus is that his ability to tackle is better than that of Heath. Hopefully, we draft a SS type who has better range. This could be a decent stopgap signing & I hope he’s good here, but I till don’t like it.
Nice. At least he is an experienced player. And an upgrade over Heath.
Ikoka doesn't have that mentality."Kam Chancellor slow". Chancellor ran a 4.69 40, and Kris Richard made good use of him.
Just some food for thought.
To me- I think Heath's football IQ is terrible esp in the run game. The Rams game showed that. He was the only one free to make the tackle and he was a no show. Could have been coaching but the good players play the game.I wonder what the story was with Heath in 2018. In 2016 & 2017 he played at a much higher level.
