Thanks to the good people at CZ for the tribute.

A really tough day for a lot of people, but the outcry of support from the NFL family has been great. There have been some really amazing and touching posts on here.

Thanks again, for everything.

For honoring, all I know so far is Clinton Portis has switched his number to #21. There's been small talk of the whole team wearing Taylor jerseys in pregame warmups as well.

if true, i hope he has a game of his life when rep'ing sean

Well to me it sounds like the intruders not only knew which room was Sean Taylors, also firing their weapons they most likely knew he was in the room. So in my mind, it wasn't a burglary, but a planned murder. Anyone have a newslink of that 1st burglary which happened on Nov. 17? I wonder why Sean was even staying at the house after the 1st one happened, knowing the danger involved.

Rachel Nichols reported that the intruder broke into the locked bedroom, where Sean, his girlfriend and their baby were sleeping. Taylor's girlfriend grabbed the baby and hid underneath the covers while Sean got shot. I can only imagine how horrifying this experience has been for the people he was taken from.

God Bless Sean Taylor and those who loved him.

.

Thank you mods for honoring Sean Taylor.

We have had several Cowboy fans come to hailRedskins.com and express condolences and sympathies. We truly thank you. A tragic and senseless act like this makes football irrelevant and us as fans mourn Sean Taylor, the individual and it helps put life in perspective.

Of course we mourn the loss of Sean Taylor the football player. He gave us terrific highlights, added spark to our defense, and became the premier face of the Commanders. Shy to the media he was, he had his reasons and we the fans also supported him in that regard.

Sean had a troubled past, but overcame it and all words, indications and comments from people who knew him as a friend and teammate clearly has shown he overcame the troubles. If there is one thing you can take from here, and feel free to share it with your fans, is that the reputation and troubled past of Sean Taylor were indeed in the PAST and Sean really did turn his life around. His 18 month old daughter was a huge part of that transformation along with his close friendships with Clinton Portis and Santana Moss. Does it make a difference? No, in the reality of life, no, Sean was a human being and Sean was one of us. BUT, please feel free to pass on that the reputation Sean developed early, was not who Sean was yesterday. Sean was a friend of many, a great football player, a terrific son, and a father to an 18 month old daughter.

We weep and mourn his loss, not as a player, but as Sean the person. You as fellow football fans know how we as fans can become attached to our players. It's a sorrowful time in Commanders Nation and knowing fellow NFL fans stand behind us is comforting. For that we at hailRedskins.com say, THANK YOU!

The color scheme change shows more than class, you guys and gals are awesome!

I must say I have a new respect for this board and it's posters. The color change and the memorial at the top has really blown me away. The heartfelt sympathies from many of the fans I have definitely gotten into page long "discussions" have been great.

I feel like I am repeating myself, but I really can't say enough.

Thank you

P.S. My s/n on ES is Riggo#44

I'm a long time Skins fan and want to express my thanks to everyone here for the classy way you are expressing your thought on our team losing Sean and the world losing a young kid how was becoming a great person. We truly have the greatest rivalry in sports! But thats the key, sports consists of games and we lost a human being which transcends sports. I may not be speaking for all Skins Fans, but I'm sure I echo the sentiment of most when I say THANKS YOU for your support. Play well against GB and we will see you for the seasons finally.

Im still shocked. Absolutely stunned. :(

Someone on another board mentioned that CP wants to wear #21 for this weekend. I think it would be great if he did.

I wrote something on ES yesterday, but I couldn't find it. I said that if anything ever happened to any of the Dallas players, I'd PM a Mod to make sure we showed the same class as you guys and pay tribute to that player. We'll make it happen, God forbid something does happen. Hope it doesn't.
