and a ban in 1....2.....3........see ya you classless internet thug

...not sure there's ever been a more dire need for one.

I still really can't believe any of this, when I heard the news of the first incident it was bad enough but when I saw this on ESPN earlier I could only stand there in shock for the best part of 10 minutes.

thoughts are with the Taylor family, the Commanders orginization and everyone else associated, the respect level is always there and in times like this you can do nothing other than show it. R.I.P. Sean and best of luck to everyone close to Sean and the Skins.

from ES, things have really been put into perspective today.

Shame, way to early, and having a young child makes it worse, I wish his family the best RIP

"Hating" a particular football organization is a lot different than hating the actual human beings who work for the football organization.

Anyone who would rejoice in the death of a football player is pretty twisted.

i dont know, depends on what that football player did, like when Dwayne Goodrich ran over those innocent people cause he was fleeing the law........i wouldnt have shed a tear if he had died during the incident...i mean i wouldnt rejoice, but i sure wouldnt be all torn up either.

It still just doesn't feel real. He had such a bright future far after his football career with how he was handling life. It's just truly sad, every time i see a picture of the guy i get teary eyed. My heart is gonna feel extremely heavy when i look in that backfield and not seeing number 21 flying around. He is not replaceable, the Commanders will never have a safety that had his abilities probably ever. I feel so sorry for his daughter too, as she will probably never remember her father when she grows up. The only thing she will get to see of him are highlight reels, and the good things that her mother will tell her about him.

We lost a hero, a great player, but most importantly we Commander nation lost a good man. Thanks Cowboy fans for staying classy, your site actually looks good now ;) . Wow i can hardly joke...

R.I.P Sean Taylor

On the bright side, Cowboy fans, at least we don't have to worry about him anymore :D

You're cool.

No, he's banned...

i dont know if it has been brought up yet, but there are a few things on my mind.

1. Taylor seemed to always have issues whenever he went back to Florida. Trouble always seemed to find him. I know he is from there and it is home, but when very bad things seem to cross your path while there, perhaps it is time to make a new place home.

2. From what I have heard on the radio the last few days.....someone broke into Taylor's home last week and left a knife on the bed. If this is true, it was obviously a message, a warning. I am wondering why the police didn't stake out his place to see if the perps returned. I am wondering if Taylor had video cameras. I am wondering where the security alarm was. I am wondering why he didn't have body guards or guard dogs.

Why did he stay there and keep himself and his family in harms way? He isn't living in the ghetto in poverty. He has the financial means to get away from danger.

Unfortunately a young man was gunned down, when I feel it all could have been avoided. Hopefully soon the police and the media will be able to give me answers to my questions.

man, i really hope they find the punk who did this...btw did they ever find out who shot darrent williams?

It's a sad thing for any player to have lost his life so early. My heart goes out to the family, and the extended family of fans and players that have enjoyed his performance on and off the field.

In honor of his life, I think it would be appropriate to open the starting defense with 10 men on the field, his safety position vacant to give him one last start.

Hey, I'm sure the Commander players are going to play inspired football on Sunday, so this gesture could be remembered as a missing man formation for him.

Just an idea.

Rest in Peace Sean Taylor

That would be a very cool gesture. I doubt it happens but cool none the less.

For honoring, all I know so far is Clinton Portis has switched his number to #21. There's been small talk of the whole team wearing Taylor jerseys in pregame warmups as well.
