He's just one of those guys that's not gonna wow you with stats but he's too good for me to say he's average or subpar. The only issue anyone has with him is his sack totals.......but sack totals don't translate year to year. Some years they are going to be down. But what are you doing when you aren't getting those sacks? That's where he is better than most in the league IMO.
Its just so subjective though....IMO, no one has really earned their check....but if I gauge players based on what they actually contribute? That's a different ball game. I can't fault a guy for what Jerry and co. paid them.

That shows the Cowboys would be foolish to spend big on Gregory or Smith. Those are situational players, not 3 down players.
hes been playing like this the last 3 games and rally all year very close a lot f pressures but it wasn't paying off..

He got what Jerry paid him. I can't judge players based on what Jerry gave them. I just can't. I'd be sitting here hating every player on the team.
It's not always about bone crushing tackles. He also makes some good plays defending passes.
Didn’t he take himself out of the last play? He and the rest of the defense still look like a few plays away from being the worst cowboys defense ever...oh, wait...
