Again explain what he has done this season to be worth a 20 mil a year contract.

Well based on what @Denim Chicken posted....I'd say he's done just enough....

Doesn't look like a 20mil a season guy to me. Just my opinion

What does a 20 mil a year guy look like? This is the list of top 10 paid DL.

Dlaw is tied for 1st in forced fumbles, second in tackles. Is right there in TFL. All this with squat around him.

Thanks for bringing some sense into the conversation.

Stopping the run, building leads and forcing teams to pass a lot is how a lot of stats come on defense. This team hasn’t been able to do those things this season. Lawrence is nowhere close to being a problem. He plays with great energy, balance, swag and demeanor. All things you can build around.

These same people were trying to say he mailed it in after the contract. But now that the effort he plays with is undeniable they want to point to a stat with a waxing and waning nature they don’t even understand.

And he gutted through several weeks basically playing on one leg from what I've read.

Yep got rolled up late in the Rams game.. could not practice for 3-4 weeks but still gutted out game days.. Some people ding a guy for going out there when he's not at full strength.. I'm not one of them.. I give a player props for being willing to do that. It's up the the coaches to determine if him on one leg is better than Dorrance Armstrong on two.. From how it played out it seemed like we got our answer.

How many sacks should he have?
More than 5.5 after 14 games. This is 2 seasons in a row. The number 1 job of a pass rusher is to sack the QB and those that do that at a high level deserve that type of money. DLaw clearly has not been doing that at a high level.

As of about a week ago DLaw was top 6/7 in all of football in both pass rush win rate and run stop win rate.

He’s racked a lot of pressures and run stops and is one of the few defenders to consistently show up on film each Sunday.

I’m not sure if people are just looking at sack totals for an assessment but if that’s the case there needs to be more homework done. It’s not 1989 anymore and there’s an incredible amount of data out there.

So he has issues with finishing his #1 job.....clearly.....5.5.

LOL...you still trotting out the BS supposed injury excuse for Lawrence again? You did the same thing for Zeke......stop with the BS excuses just to protect your overpaid underperforming prima donna players.
