If its based on how MUCH you play rather than your performance, doesn't that mean that Hurd wass in on much of the offfensive sets as the no.2 reciever?
And if so, that doesn't say too much about him does it, because he had a lackluster season even though he had alot of opportunities in an offense and a quarterback that passed alot!
That being said I'm glad he got paid; these guys kill themselves for entertainment and godforbid they hurt themselves they are gonna need that money!
