Didn't say the team would, that's what I said they should do, or rather what I would do. No, he doesn't cost them a roster spot but he doesn't do them any good in rehab, either...He's a drafted player on a rookie contract, not going to cost them a roster spotif and when he goes on IR, team isn't cutting him....
Guarantee he’s on the roster. He’s under contract on a rookie deal. Why would he not be on the roster. The silver lining of his injury is he should be fully recovered to start camp next year. The only good thing about his injury is it’s so early he has a ton of recovery timeAbsolutely. Why not? This is only his 3rd year. He is young and likely comes back at 100%.
There is zero doubt he is on the 2025 roster. If he isn't ready for week one (should be), PUP.
Will the Cowboys draft a DE next year. They should. But even that won't change Williams roster status for next year.
Exactly. Enough of feeling sorry for yourself. Move on.Wish him a full recovery... Next man up! Kneeland it's your turn my guy!
We really do need to go pro personnel dept and pick up some depth at a minimum. Armstrong wasn't flashy, but he was damn dependable.Real problems with pass rushing DE depth now. Especially worrisome with Parsons undersize end of season fatigue. Lost Armstrong and Fowler, and next guy that was going to step up is gone now. I wonder if Sam's career is over too. He was labeled as one of the guys holding parties before the game, stupid off field issues his time here. I wonder if he has the character and mental discipline to come back from that?
