I liked what I saw from Williams too.

Judging from the videos it seems that Williams was held quite a bit. But no call. It's been the typical story with these refs. The opponents hold all game long and not one of these calls are made. So pathetic.

Pass rushers usually have the steepest learning curves on the NFL Level as they can no longer just win by being more athletic. Parsons impact wasn't the norm. I expect Williams to show flashes, but also have his struggles as a rookie.

The sooner Sam learns to do more than run the arc the better. Spending time with Charles Haley would greatly benefit him. Nobody had better inside counter moves than him.
To be honest I'd like to see a better bend coming from the RDE position, and I'd like to see him be a bit more careful with his hands to the face...

But some geniuses on here said he looked basic. Just like the Nashon wright/Joseph deal, most people don't know what they're looking at in a football game

I hope the kid gets home tonight for a sack or forced fumble. Definitely has become my “pet cat” of this years group

From most of the tape I saw from him in college Miss played in a 3 man front the majority of the time. He still got pressure. SEC big time football. The similarity to me with Micha is the pursuit speed he’s showed once he goes after the QB.

Looked like he was bending just fine when he ran around Josh Ball in Oxnard.

I think Sam's going to be fine, he does need to keep working on his technique and add a trick or two to his repertoire, like a spin move, but the talent is there, it just needs to be refined.

Add tricks? He just showed about 10 pass rushing tricks LOL. He will get there.

Considering what we have seen from most of Dallas early round pass rushers not named Ware, Williams looks ahead of pretty much all of them and I think he is gonna make us forget the legend that was Randy Gregory.

He will be a good replacement for Demarcus Lawrence in a year or two.

To be fair that was Josh Ball...I could probably run around him and I'm 60. ;)

To be clear, not criticizing the kid - looks pretty good, obviously gotta see more than 1 PS game.

He's not going to have a Micah Impact (but who does?), but I think by the middle of Year 2 he's going to be someone we are all going to be very happy with.
Barring injury, he's definitely going to show flashes this year. Maybe quite a few of them.
I think it will be sooner than that personally. I am as high on him as anyone and he is actually further along than i thought he would be.

As i have been crowing....we stole this guy!
